Marketing tip: Don't confuse what you want/like with what your audience likes/want
There's A/B Testing for all of that.
Claude Duet: Tons of promise. I like the multi channel set-up. BUT Literally forgets what it promised to do. For two of my tasks is supposed to give me an 8AM update. Has not happened so far.
For now, very much in alpha and not quite beta.
Hopefully I can get access to Claude Projects instead this seems further along.
Ok it has taken a while @chatgpt dots is beginning to use the memory of my chats to unlock advice.
Exciting stuff
Because of extreme limits earlier this year I stopped using Claude and switched to ChatGPT.
Now with Duet and the awesome Opus 5.5, I am back in the ecosystem but again given limits I am better off switching back and forth vs just sticking to one frontier model.
With that said, the better the model the more likely I am to upgrade to their max account......something is happening here.
I think a good content strategy nowadays is making sure to mix the ephemeral nature of X or LinkedIn
With long term assets such as long form video on YouTube and longer essays on Substack.
Content that drives value should not only be consumed bite by bite but as an entire meal
My Dots experience:
1. SO much potential
2. This can't be the same model I chat with on the chat
3. This model is MUCH dumber than whatever I chat with on the chat.
I would prefer they fix the intelligence and charge for it vs giving me more agents for it to manage.
I hear gemini argon is a great writer.
I would surely update to pro just to test this use case.
More and more I wish we had a model for knowledge work. Great at excel, marketing briefs, creative strategy, copywriting (yes I am in marketing). Understands emails, gets ahead. This is a different game and also a BROADER market.
@alexandr_wang I dont' need 3D games! I think your team can kill the assignment above.
Working with Astra this morning. I am a pro subscriber that only uses it once or twice a week. I have 90% off my tokens left. Why did I get this message:
ChatGPT is my top organic channels
I think anyone with a service that needs consideration needs to add it to their arsenal.
Here's how we did it:
1. Step #1: We formatted our blogs in a way that makes it easier for LLM to quote us: Short form summaries, FAQs, tables
2. Step #2: We are slowly using PR to build more authority as well as getting quoted and linked back by other sites
3. Step #3: We started posting more and more on Reddit and about to expand onto Youtube and other similar platforms.
If you notice above 2/3 steps are out of our site. PR, Youtube and other platforms such as G2 and Capterra are becoming even more important not as a distribution channel themselves but as a way to be recommended by LLMs.
Is it easier said than done? Perhaps, but a little bit of all three above goes a long way.
(PS: This is how chatgpt show us for us on our forms, I still have to ask the person who booked what prompt they used in order to find us)
Need to beware of accounts like these
I routinely test ChatGPT ads I only know of one company out of 20 that has gotten great results.
The main issue is that this targets free users as opposed to paid users
Most of those in my niche pay for ChatGPT
Calling it now - AI ads are going to be the biggest arbitrage in the world over the next 2-3 years
It’ll be like Meta ads in 2014 all over again
Right now barely any brands advertise inside AI chat
Most people using ChatGPT never see an ad, because almost no niches are covered yet
Early platform + no competition = cheap attention
Everyone who got rich on Facebook ads in 2014 will tell you the same thing
The window is NOW
This is where I see the personal assistant thing on my end:
1. A grok bot like experience for work but with the ability to choose models. I would love Hermes to be this but it needs more polish.
2. A personal assistant like muse/instinct but that inspires more trust
I want both experiences not one or the other
Don’t think anthropic should get on this.
Focus is important.
I would love to see @bot just being top tier here by focusing all of their resources on models that are agentic and harnesses that make agentic work better.
I would make the product even better by letting people bring their own models
Now that the models are in place. I want new great video and image models!!!
Ideogram looks amazing. But we can do better than Seedance 2.5.
Bring me the new Kling. New and better voice models.
AI should be for work not just coding!
My business relies on AI to make revenue.
Be model agnostic and build your own context.
Full pro max subscriptions to chatgpt and Claude at the same time are the best investment I have ever made.
Hmmm
Why is @ManusAI and Cue showing me their number at $9.99 vs the $0.99 I am seeing promoted
AI has allowed me to become a successful entrepreneur BUT it only works because I have spent 20+ years building my craft
Honestly I want to buy so much of the tech that @finkd released yesterday. Excited about the VR glasses and may try the Muse thing (though i don't see how it will work).
Yes, I want better PRICING AND BETTER USAGE LIMITS vs a brand new model. I haven't had the time to update prior usage!
I think I shop more when Amazon lets my agent shop.
it has more time than me to do these things.
On the agent side, computer use needs to become more inevitable.
