It has to be a sequel, then, since outside of Seth Brundle's "science studio" apartment, the universe of The Fly is our universe.
The director of Nanny, Nikyatu Jusu is entering the world of DAVID CRONENBERG'S THE FLY with a brand new movie that's set in the film's body horror universe: bloody-disgusting.com/movie/…

#watched RE-ANIMATOR (1985)
The socially uncomfortable moments in this film cause me far more discomfort than any of the splatter mayhem. I bet that many of my fellow horror fanatics feel the same way. 😆
#watched THE HORROR OF PARTY BEACH (1964)
Perhaps cinema's finest example of a juvenile-delinquent, rock-n-roll beach musical that, after 22 minutes, abruptly shifts gears to become an eco-horror sea-monster movie that mostly takes place in the woods at night.
Perhaps.

#watched REPULSION (1965)
A woman barrels toward a psychotic break in broad daylight, but the people around her are too self-absorbed to see it coming.
No "character study of a murderer" horror film is better at inviting viewers into the killer's mind. Polanski's best, IMO.
Today's trail pic - A few times per year I hike out to this spot and take a pic. Somehow it always looks different.

Today's trail pics 5 - The rich golden hues almost made me forget I was somehow going uphill in both directions. #hiking

I did it! I stopped it! That’s another year I’ve stopped Conal Cochran and his murderous scheme. Not on my watch, warlock. Happy Halloween, folks. #YoureWelcome
#watched TRICK 'R TREAT (2007)
Despite all the mayhem, I kinda want to live in this town. They take Halloween seriously.
