אני נרגש לשתף שהתחלתי השבוע את קורס הצוערים במשרד החוץ, כצוער במסלול המדיני, ובכך גם הפכתי לצד״לניק הראשון בתפקיד 🥰
מבחינתי זה היה הצעד הכי מתבקש בסיפור החיים שלי, המשך ישיר לברית שחתמו הוריי עם מדינת ישראל בשנות ה-70 וה-80 עם הקמת צד״ל בדרום לבנון.
ברית האחים שנוצרה למען מטרה משותפת של שלום ושכנות טובה, הופכת היום למציאות עם דור ההמשך שאני חלק ממנו, במדינה שהפכה להיות הבית הרשמי והבלתי מעורער שלי, תחושת השייכות שקרתה בזכות החברה הישראלית ובעיקר מתוך ההבנה העמוקה שהגורל שלי ושל מדינת ישראל הם אחד.
לאחר כמעט 15 שנים של עשייה ופעילות ציבורית בתחום הדיפלומטיה הציבורית בזירה הבינלאומית, משפחות צד״ל בארץ והתקשורת בשנים האחרונות, אני עושה את הצעד הזה בתוך תחושת שליחות אמיתית וגאווה לייצג את המדינה שלי בצורה רשמית כחלק מהצוות הדיפלומטי המצויין של משרד החוץ.
בקורס שהתחיל השבוע התקבלו 36 צוערים מתוך כ-2000 מועמדים, 26 במסלול המדיני ו-10 למסלול החוץ מנהלי. אנשים מכל קצוות האוכלוסייה מראש הנקרה ועד אילת, נמצא גם אדריכל, מנהלת תסריט, מוציאה לאור, יוצאי יחידות מיוחדות, אנשי תקשורת, ואף בכירים בשירות המדינה.

We condemn recent Russian attacks on Kyiv by which a 14 years old Israeli citizen was killed last night, and 20 people - including the boy's mother were injured.
Our condolences to the family, and the families who lost their loved ones in recent attacks on Kyiv and other cities in Ukraine and wishing quick recovery to the wounded.

Today in Beit Shemesh, we visited the impact site of an Iranian missile strike as part of @markodjuric visit to Israel.
We received briefings from @IsraelMFA spokesperson @OrenMarmorstein and Mayor @ShmuelGreenberg , hearing first-hand about the events and the response on the ground.
We also met Smadar Katz, who shared the unimaginable loss of her husband, Oren, killed alongside eight residents in the attack while protecting others at the entrance to a shelter.
A sobering and deeply human reminder of the cost of terror, and of the extraordinary resilience of communities under fire.

Had a very open and friendly meeting today with Mr. @AmirOhana, Speaker of the @KnessetT, focused on advancing parliamentary #cooperation and the current pace of political dialogue between our countries.
Serbia is keen to deepen its engagement with Israel in economic terms, particularly through increased Israeli #investment and the establishment of an Israel–Serbia Chamber of Commerce, as a concrete step toward connecting our business communities.
We also discussed the recently launched #StrategicDialogue, which provides an important framework for further broadening our overall cooperation in the years to come.
This visit undoubtedly brings strong momentum to the future of #Serbia–#Israel relations, and I very much look forward to welcoming Mr. Ohana to Belgrade soon.

As we breathe, almost for the first time in 738 days with the return of the hostages, stolen by Hamas, held in torture, we mourn, we grieve the loss of the hostages who did not survive Hamas’ evil.
