That includes offering PQ attestation and validation services to other chains, pursuing non-crypto use cases, and exploring how Algorand's PQ stack can help secure tokenized stock markets. 🏢 Enterprises will soon be able to use the Algorand network without touching $ALGO directly. 🌉 Multi-chain support is a core part of the 2027 strategy, with cross-chain bridging, swapping, and messaging as priorities. More detail on implementation is expected in early Q1 2027. 🤝 William spent most of his first month on business development and partnerships, with a focus on bringing more mainstream partners, workloads, and traffic onto the network. ⛽ There are no plans to raise transaction fees. Charging more for higher-value products and services at the application layer may be explored instead. 💧 On DeFi liquidity, Algorand is open to low-risk opportunities that support network self-sustainability and has already reviewed a few pitches. 📜 Algorand already holds several patents and is likely to pursue more, particularly to protect services built on open-source tech. 🗓️ On the King Safety paper, William is taking several months to settle in before executing a new plan, with updates on timelines and milestones to follow.

We’re excited to announce three promotions across the Foundation. Bruno Martins, formerly Chief Architect and twice acting CTO, has been appointed Chief Technology Officer. Bruno will oversee protocol engineering and will bring his deep expertise in blockchain engineering, applied cryptography, and key management systems to drive Algorand’s future innovations. Will Beaumont, formerly Head of Pera Wallet, has been promoted to Global Head of Product & Integrations. Will will be responsible for product strategy and solutions delivery across both business and engineering, including the Pera Wallet. Brian Whippo, former Head of Developer Relations, has been promoted to Senior Director of Integrations & Developer Tooling. Brian will be responsible for developer relations and developer tooling, and he will build out a new practice to help businesses, ecosystem partners, and AI agents bring new activity on-chain.

Multisig accounts are coming to Algorand via @PeraAlgoWallet ⌛ Set up a wallet with up to 16 accounts, and then choose your threshold for decision-making.

.@ivorypay just went live on Algorand with two new stablecoin payment products. Ivorypay is now live, acting as a payment gateway for merchants to accept payments and pay suppliers globally. @dufflehq is a P2P payments app built by Ivorypay, facilitating USDC card payments.

Congratulations to @Quantoz on becoming a direct @Visa principal member. Leveraging Algorand to issue regulated digital money, they’re now a Visa principal member, unlocking virtual cards, BIN sponsorship, and real-world spending of e-money and stablecoins across Visa’s network.

.@swyptio is now live on Algorand. Merchants can accept Kenyan Shillings via M-Pesa and settle in USDC on-chain, while new M-Pesa <> USDC rails connect builders to the dominant payment system through which ~59% of Kenya’s GDP flows. Real payments. Real merchants.

Algorand is now listed on the official @coinbase x402 ecosystem page, with @GoPlausible as the facilitator. x402 on Algorand will be huge and a game-changer for the network. More to come.
