Given what this man is responsible for, he deserves more of this treatment. Economic sanctions hurt civilians and his move to aviation sanctions against Iran globally is a draconian measure. Shame to all the nations who comply with this measure.

CENTCOM hit Iran's railways between Tehran and Mash'had to disturb the traffic between the two cities when the assassinated Sayyed Ali Khamenei was supposed to be taken from Najaf, Iraq, to Imam Reza in an hour's time.
It has bombed a civilian infrastructure in Golestan Province linking Iran with China, by railways, and also the Chahabar harbour that links Iran with Asia, with main traffic towards India and Pakistan.

The person who floated the so-called “scoop” that the US-Israeli objective was to install former President Ahmadinejad as Iran’s leader is not revealing intelligence. He is planting psychological bait.
The aim is clear:
- To lie loudly enough that some will believe it.
- To insinuate that Iran’s upper ranks are infiltrated and internally fractured.
- To encourage ambitious or disgruntled figures to imagine defection as a viable political path.
- To deepen mistrust within Iranian society and fuel factional paranoia.
- To project the illusion that Washington and Tel Aviv still possess the ability to engineer regime change from above.
- To psychologically weaken the image of institutional cohesion inside Iran.
- To provoke reactions from Iranian political camps and map fault lines through the responses.
- To feed Western audiences with a simplistic “good faction versus bad faction” narrative that they can easily consume.
- To normalise the idea that Iran’s political future can be designed abroad.
- To create media noise that distracts from the failure of military and strategic pressure.
Above all, the choice of Ahmadinejad as a supposed US-Israeli candidate exposes how detached the authors of this narrative are from Iran’s political reality. It is a caricature designed for audiences unfamiliar with the country’s institutions, ideological structure, and historical memory.
