In many cases it's difficult to even assess the scale of water pollution, toxic substances in the soil, or cancer-causing chemicals in the air, as virtually all of Gaza’s capacity to measure these things—the labs, the equipment & those who know how to use them—has been destroyed.

The images were taken in June this year and show further destruction of homes, businesses, places of worship, and infrastructure since a fragile ceasefire came into effect almost 12 months ago.

Key findings: (1) Nearly 1/2 have experienced or witnessed APR, & about 1/4 experienced it directly; (2) About 1/2 who spoke up about A-PR at work were treated unfavorably afterward; & (3) 1/10 missed work in the past 2 years due to fear of A-PR.

This is an important validation of the power of international law to identify serious war crimes and to name a genocide when that is supported by the facts.
