Long time no tweet! Happy to be back with a new paper on #GenAI policies in HE assessment. There is a critical silence regarding what it means by “original work” when knowledge production becomes increasingly distributed, collaborative and mediated by AI. tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.…

If you were ally enough to vote Yes’, then there’s a few things you can do now.
1. Listen to Aboriginal people.
2. Get that this isn’t about you.
3. The hand-wringing surprise that Australia is racist is insulting. We’ve said it for years. Stop denying, and work to change it.

We would like to honour the men and women of the First Nations Regional Dialogues and the National Constitutional Convention at Uluṟu. Thank you for your mighty contribution to the nation. Thank you for the Uluṟu Statement from the Heart. Our people were excluded from the drafting of the Constitution. We were excluded from the nation’s constitutional order until 1967. We remain subject to the “Race power”. You were asked by the Commonwealth, “What is meaningful recognition to you?” And your answer was Recognition thru a Voice. The Voice is intended to include communities in Australian democracy and decision-making. History will remember the courageous and patient men and women of the Uluṟu Dialogues. It’s their legacy we celebrate today. Megan and Pat. Xx
