Fun times at the British Podcast Awards last night. Fortuitously, I had chosen a T-shirt that matched the logo and carpet. The eagle-eyed amongst you will observe that we are not clutching awards; this is due to some oversight which meant apparently we did not win. #BritishPodcastAwards

I can't quite believe it, but it's been TEN YEARS since we began @TheModernMann. Even in 2015, we knew that a magazine programme was, in essence, an anti-internet idea. But it's even more so now, in a world where increasing numbers of people think of 'podcasts' as celebrity videos on Instagram. But I'm really proud of what we've achieved: some acclaim and some awards, yes, but also a devoted audience who entrust us to bring them something distinct, entertaining and challenging every month. And platforming some really important stories amongst the laughs. Massive thanks @AlixFox, @Ollieep, and @virtualmatthill - and, especially, to the Mann-Fans. Here's to the next ten years. x
