Rise thru international collabs aside, Burna won't be where he is today without the likes of the above mentioned artistes. It doesn't matter if he sells out arenas, attends the Ballon d'Or ceremony, or even performs at an NFL half-time show, the foundation has been laid by older artistes and they should be acknowledged. This is like comparing Ayra Starr to Yemi Alade or Tiwa Savage because she made Obama's list of songs. It is much easier to do what Burna is doing now, compared to back in the day where Nigerian artistes had to work tirelessly to get any form of recognition. As a matter of fact, artistes nowadays barely put in the work.
