The AU–IFRC High-Level Convening on Advancing Durable Solutions Towards Zero Hunger in Africa concluded in Addis Ababa on 3 November with a shared call for stronger African ownership, sustained investment and coordinated action. The communiqué brings together country priorities and areas for collective action, including climate-resilient agriculture, anticipatory action, nutrition, sustainable livelihoods and stronger food systems. It also highlights the importance of aligning partner support with national priorities, mobilising public and private investment, and strengthening coordination and accountability to ensure solutions reach communities. Africa has solutions to hunger. Now we must connect efforts, invest in what works and make those solutions last.
