Alliance Educators keep building power at the table. This past week, we held our second bargaining session, the first with the Expanded Bargaining Team! We are resolute and focused on winning a fair contract that uplifts Alliance educators, students, and community.

Alliance Educators from Gertz-Merkin and Burton Tech went to the table today for the first day of bargaining for better work and learning environments. The power of our movement is felt at the table. Together, we will win a fair and just contract.

After months of fighting, we are going to the table TOMORROW to fight for fair wages, a fair contract, and resources for our schools. We won't tolerate any bargaining in bad faith. Alliance has delayed enough. We are united for our schools, our students, and our communities

We start bargaining our new contract in a month and when we go to the table, we bring the entire community with us. Yesterday, we got to connect with parents about the issues that concern them the most and how we can work together to uplift the entire Alliance community.

Alliance is accountable to Los Angeles Unified and the people of LA. You don't get to claim to care about social justice while actively working to deny educators their labor rights. Thank you, LAUSD Board Member @DrRivasBD2, for standing in solidarity with Alliance Educators.

.@AllianceCRPS claims to care about social justice, but they try to stop our union at every possible step. Denying educators their legal rights to advocate for themselves and their students is not social justice. Alliance: Bargain with us in good faith at ALL schools.

So the Court of Appeals ruled in favor of labor rights for Alliance Educators. What does that mean? ✅ PERB orders recognizing our union were upheld ✅ @AllianceCRPS has been ordered to come to the table and bargain. Again. Enough of the lawsuits Alliance. Come bargain.
