Hello I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Parker Roth, and I’m the head of @Aloha_Nodes.
My background is deeply rooted in decentralized infrastructure.
I’ve hosted and operated GPU and ASIC mining, managed a storage farm, run nodes, staked networks, and worked across Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Cardano, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Zcash, Monero, Dash, Decred, Siacoin, and PIVX.
I also deployed Helium infrastructure. It didn’t work out the way I hoped, but it reinforced something important: real-world decentralized networks need a clear purpose, sustainable economics, and practical value for the communities they serve.
So I’ve seen firsthand how decentralized networks can turn underused resources into real-world value.
That’s why I’m excited to join World Mobile community.
For me, the connection is clear: whether it’s compute power from GPUs and ASICs or unused radio spectrum and stratospheric drones, the opportunity is in using overlooked infrastructure more intelligently.
This is how we can lower the cost of connectivity and help bring reliable broadband to rural and underserved communities...CONNECTING THE UNCONNECTED!!!
From mining and storage to nodes, staking, and wireless deployments, I’ve always believed in infrastructure that creates real utility. World Mobile is building toward exactly that.
That’s why a group of associates and I acquired several EarthNodes and uNetwork nodes in the @WorldMobileTeam / @UnityNodesIO ecosystem. We hope to expand it further by optimizing our nodes and offering hosting for others.

ARIA is the UK's agency for high-risk, high-reward science, with advisors like Nobel laureate Sir Demis Hassabis @demishassabis

The week's chair was none other than Dr Mike Short CBE: former Chair of the GSMA, 40+ years in telecoms, former VP at Telefónica, and the first Chief Scientific Adviser at the UK Department for International Trade.
He's also World Mobile Stratospheric's Senior Technology Advisor!
Dr Short said: "We will soon see more HAPS", and that choice "will help reduce costs".

Facts
I encourage you all to get involved in World Mobile to whatever level you can. And do it before the bull takes off (i.e. you don't want to be that guy that gets on the bandwagon too late).
To give you some ideas, here are the ways I'm involved in World Mobile as it stands right now:
1. Accumulated and currently staking $WMTX
2. Accumulated and (soon to be) running EarthNodes
3. Accumulated AirNodes (Ember, Frontier). I'm admittedly late to the party, but never too late to start!
4. Dropped Verizon and switched to a World Mobile phone plan (first as Network Founder and now to the $40 Unlimited plan). I LOVE IT!
5. Staked enough tokens to my phone plan to achieve Black Tier status (and earn me sweet AN discounts among other benefits)
6. Bought multiple travel eSIMs for my travels in the last year to Ireland and Canada
7. Running ScanForPoints (WM Scan) app on my Android phone. I do this every day everywhere I go and have racked up a lot of points.
8. Bought the cheap $15 WM phone plan for my wife's secondary phone (Android) so she can also scan and try to keep up with me.
9. Participate in community events as a proud @WorldMobilers member. Attended RareEvo annual meetups, and frequent the Saturday X and YT Spaces. Also participate in X, TG, and Discord channels.
10. Bought World Mobile and Alliance merch (but not nearly enough!).
11. Got involved in our wonderful related projects of World Mobile Stratospheric (wmstratospheric.com), @Minutes_Network, and @UnityNodesIO (which deserve their own posts).
Things I have yet to do with World Mobile:
1. Become a Network Builder
2. Become a Network Affiliate and sign up people to the World Mobile phone plans (refer & earn program). I'm working on getting my family to switch and I think I'm getting close!
3. Pay off my wife's phone (on Verizon) and get her on a World Mobile plan (need to do this soon!)
4. Buy WM merch for Christmas gifts, especially for our grandchildren (thanks @ChristianRees!)
5. I'm sure I'm probably missing one or two other things. Please let me know.
My point is simple: Please GET INVOLVED. As @MrTelecoms has repeatedly stated, "Together We're Unstoppable." Our community is really, really awesome!
