You can now run your own node on Keeta.
Three weeks ago I put the first external node on Keeta mainnet. Now slop node is out for everyone – it's a few lines with Docker.
The true digitalization of finance, especially in cross-border contexts, has stalled. Blockchain technology may bring about a new chapter where money is as fast as the internet is. However, current blockchains are unscalable and clunky and I don't see them being the next financial backbone at all.
Keeta is insanely fast. Settlement is sub-second and deterministic. Using its components, for the first time in history, a solo developer with an AI agent can set up an entire neobank in just minutes. I believe Keeta will power a new wave of financial apps, where the best user experience, security, and feature set will win.
I can't wait to see how Keeta develops, but right now its source code isn't fully public and third parties are not able to run their own nodes. I fed Claude Opus 5.5 the public parts of the code, my understanding of Keeta, its docs and forum discussions. Then came about 6 hours of refinement and setting up an environment where the agent could evaluate itself. Finally, it ran for a few days autonomously.
The end result is a fully functional Keeta node. It's primarily for experimentation, please don't rely on it for high value applications (yet?).

Well, there you have it ladies and gentlemen: the first external node on Keeta mainnet – me.
Let me explain. Despite not being officially available, Keeta actually bundles most of its source code in its client library.
What’s missing is really just the ledger itself – the part that records and validates the state of the network. Everything else you can piece together from the bundle.
It’s a big task to do well, but with the public sources, some proprietary magic, and a $200 Claude sub, anything is possible nowadays. So I built exactly that module – and a bit more.
This is how “slop node”, the first Keeta-compatible public node, has come into existence. I’m still refining a few things, and it’s not actually allowed to vote on mainnet, but it is nevertheless a fully functional third-party node on Keeta.
yay! $KTA

AI agents are starting to spend money on traditional bank accounts. Here's what it looks like when an agent gets its own bank account instead: network-enforced limits, every currency in one account, final in 400 ms, and pay-per-API-call with x402.

(1/5) Keeta Stablecoins are live on mainnet.
KBUSD, KBEUR, KBJPY, KBCNY, KBGBP, KBCAD, KBMXN, KBAED, and KBHKD.
Bivo, a licensed money transmitter, issues each one and backs it 1:1 with funds held in regulated financial accounts.

Stablecoins solve one problem and create another. Moving value fast is easy. Moving that value to a bank rail, another chain, or a card network usually isn’t as convenient.
On the Keeta network, stablecoins and other tokens sit alongside fiat in the same account. Anchors connect to banks in nearly any country, atomic swaps run with as-needed KYC, cross-chain transfers are native, and direct-to-card payments are coming.
That’s what stablecoins actually need: not just an asset that moves fast, but one that’s compatible with the payment industry it’s trying to join.
The waiting is over:

Stablecoins and commercial bank money are fundamentally different both in how they're backed and the nature of the liability.
Genius-ready stablecoins are fully reserve-backed 1:1 by US treasuries, cash, and other authorized liquid instruments. USDC, e.g., is a liability of Circle (historically not a bank, though this is evolving with their recent OCC approval to establish a bank).
Keeta Stablecoins are different in that they are a liability of the issuing institution (commercial bank, corporate treasury), backed by bank deposits held within the banking system via Bivo's infrastructure.
To be clear, deposits and private bank money power 95%+ of daily transactions in most advanced economies, so they are not only prevalent but critical for commerce.

It is a pleasure to begin this journey with @KeetaNetwork , led by CEO @schenkty and supported by former Google CEO @ericschmidt. The UAE has always been a place that inspires ambition, innovation, and long-term thinking, and we are proud to play our part in that story. Through this partnership, we look forward to working hand in hand to contribute to the UAE’s vision while helping strengthen cross-border connectivity and unlock the potential of real-world assets through technology. This is only the beginning, and I am excited for what we can build together for the benefit of our nation and beyond.
Others bolt compliance on. We didn't have to.
RWAs need verified ownership, real currency rails, and liquidity nobody controls. On Keeta, that's on-chain architecture, not an add-on.
The real-world assets that Wall Street ignores are getting a home.

When I spoke at SALT Conference last fall, the conversation centered around the convergence of traditional finance and blockchain finance. Today, many in the industry are still trying to determine how to position their businesses for that future.
Tomorrow, @KeetaNetwork will begin general availability of global multi-currency banking functionality to customers in more than 160 countries. The platform will support holding 8 fiat currencies, SWIFT deposits and payments, stablecoin deposits and withdrawals across multiple blockchains, and instant payouts from tokenized fiat to bank accounts through collaboration with Visa Direct.
We look forward to supporting those navigating the modern financial world. $KTA

Like wearing pants to a Zoom call.
Technically optional — but probably smart if you want people to trust you.
