1. How are you confirming the results in a decentralized way? Aura uses an Optimistic Oracle model for outcome resolution. After the market ends, anyone can submit the market’s outcome along with a small bond. If another user disagrees, they can trigger a dispute by posting a dispute bond. This dispute then goes to a community vote, where only neutral users (who don’t hold positions in that market) vote to ensure impartiality. Voting power is determined by each participant’s vaulted $AURA tokens. Users who voted receive a small portion of the trading fees from that particular market. The final outcome is thus confirmed transparently by community consensus, ensuring decentralization. 2. How are you implementing Outcome trading? Do you have an Orderbook? Aura implements outcome trading through a hybrid automated market-maker (AMM) approach, eliminating the need for a traditional orderbook. Initially, each market uses the Logarithmic Market Scoring Rule (LMSR) model, providing guaranteed liquidity and efficient price discovery even with minimal initial participation. Once trading volume surpasses a predefined threshold, the pricing mechanism transitions seamlessly into a Constant Product Market Maker (CPMM). This hybrid model ensures robust liquidity from the market's launch (via LMSR) and enhanced scalability and lower slippage once the market matures (via CPMM). Traders interact directly with liquidity pools, with prices algorithmically adjusting based on trading activity, ensuring continuous availability and efficient, fair market pricing without relying on an orderbook.
