What has your company authorized AI to do on its behalf?
For boards and management teams, that question connects business strategy with operational accountability. Where can agents create value? Which decisions should they make? Who can intervene when something goes wrong?
On November 6, we’re bringing those questions to @Nasdaq MarketSite in New York for the Alpha Agentic Economy Summit.
We’re convening board directors, executives, and management teams alongside the people building, deploying, funding, and insuring agentic systems.
The working conversations will address decisions leaders need to make together:
• Where can agents create measurable business value?
• What authority should they have, and within which limits?
• What evidence should management provide and boards require?
• Who owns performance, controls, and incident response?
Sessions will run under the Chatham House Rule, creating room for candid discussion about deployment, oversight, and the decisions ahead.
Come with a colleague from your board or management team. Bring the questions you need to work through together, and use the day to inform your next strategy discussion, deployment decision, or board meeting.

AI agents don't wait for the next board meeting.
Neither can governance.
This Friday, November 6, we're bringing together some of the most influential leaders shaping the agentic economy at Nasdaq in New York City.
Like so many of you, we were tired of the platitudes and the "governance theatre" at most conferences. People on stage that really don't know what they are talking about and hardly use the tech they are pontificating about. So we built Alpha convenings to be different. No press. No soundbytes. Only substance from subject-matter experts.
Al Zollar. Andrew Yang. Stacy Brown-Philpot. Ann Miura-Ko. Laura Desmond. Navrina Singh. Jonah Goodhart. Mayur Gupta. Eric W. Muhlheim. Ed Dandridge. Wasim Khaled. Mahendra Ramsinghani. And many, many more.
Representing companies ranging from OpenAI & Anthropic to Google & Amazon to Akamai Technologies and Cloudflare to Rogo & Harvey to leading startups like BLACKBIRD.AI, Parable, Factory, Mobian, 37Arc, The General Intelligence Company of New York, Aaru, Delphi and many, many more, Alpha is bridging the gap between the tech ecosystem and the boardroom in a way no one else can - as builders, operators and directors.
As our yearend event, the Alpha Agentic Economy Summit brings together the people building the future of AI with the board directors, executives, and investors responsible for what comes next.
We're going beyond the hype to tackle the questions that matter:
What happens when AI agents start making decisions and taking action autonomously?
How will AI transform companies, industries, and the workforce?
Where are the biggest opportunities for growth, investment, and innovation?
And how do we govern systems that increasingly operate on their own?
It's a working conversation among the leaders building, deploying, investing in, and governing the agentic enterprise.
So join us at Nasdaq for the conversations that will shape what's next.
If you're a board director, C-suite executive, investor, or technology leader, we'd love to have you in the room.

The Agentic Economy is here.
The question is no longer whether AI will transform business. It's whether our institutions are ready to lead it.
This Friday we're bringing together an extraordinary group of board directors, CEOs, technology leaders, investors, and innovators at the Nasdaq MarketSite in New York City for the Alpha Agentic Economy Summit.
We're at an inflection point.
AI is moving beyond answering questions to taking action. Agents are beginning to execute workflows, make decisions, and reshape how organizations operate, compete, and create value.
This is changing everything about how an enterprise operates - from the future of work and leadership to cybersecurity, enterprise strategy, and corporate governance.
And it raises a fundamental question: How do we govern organizations when intelligence and execution increasingly operate at machine speed?
At Alpha, we believe this next chapter requires a new model: governance by design, agentic execution, and continuous evaluations creating a continuous learning loop.
That's what we'll explore together on Friday. Not just what's technologically possible, but what it means for the people, companies, and institutions shaping our future.
Looking forward to the conversations, perspectives, and connections that will help define what's next.

Most enterprises are deploying agents faster than they are redesigning how the company runs.
Agents now execute transactions, ship code and make operational decisions between board meetings. The technology is the easy part. The harder part is the operating model: who owns the work an agent does, where its authority stops, and how the board knows it is working.
On Friday, November 6 at Nasdaq MarketSite, three leaders who see this transformation from the boardroom, inside one of the world’s most critical market operators, and at the frontier will open the day’s working sessions:
The Agentic Enterprise Transformation
🔹 Al Zollar, Board Director, BNY, IBM, and Nasdaq
🔹 Donald Beery, Chief AI Integration Officer, Nasdaq
🔹 Moderated by Denmark West, Head of Market Intelligence and Strategic Engagements, X, the moonshot factory
Expect a working conversation on what actually changes inside a company when agents take on real work, and what directors should ask before it reaches their committee agenda.
The Alpha Agentic Economy Summit is one working day, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM ET, for directors and executives that want to learn and lead in the agentic economy.

One month from today, we’re bringing the boardroom and the AI ecosystem together at @Nasdaq.
On November 6, the Alpha Agentic Economy Summit convenes in New York City.
AI is moving from answering questions to taking action: deploying code, executing transactions, and making decisions on behalf of companies.
For directors and executives, that raises urgent business questions:
➡️ Who can authorize an agent to act?
➡️ What decisions require human judgment?
➡️ How do we capture the value while maintaining control?
➡️ Who is accountable when something goes wrong?
We're bringing together board directors, CEOs, investors, insurers, and technology leaders to work through these questions with the people building and deploying agentic systems.
This year’s lineup includes Stacy Brown-Philpot, Laura Desmond, Ann Miura-Ko, Al Zollar, Madhu Muthukumar, Gary Vaynerchuk and Andrew Yang.
You’ll also hear from leaders building and operating across the technology ecosystem:
• Philip Rathle, Neo4j
• Navrina Singh, Credo AI
• Wasim Khaled, BLACKBIRD.AI
• Ned Koh, Aaru
• Dara Ladjevardian, Delphi
• Bri Treece, Fathom & Partnership for Assurance, Credibility, and Trust on AI
• Peter Day, Checksum.ai and super{set}
• Roberta “Bertie” Thomson, Sixth Wall, Hasbro’s AI Studio
• Eric W. Muhlheim, Mozilla
• Mayur Gupta, Kraken
• Vivas Kumar, Mitra Chem
The purpose: connect the people developing these systems with the people responsible for their impact. Our goal is practical: help leaders make better decisions about where to deploy AI and agents, what authority to grant them, and what evidence boards need to oversee them.
Conversations will take place under the Chatham House Rule, creating room for candid discussion about the opportunities, tradeoffs, and lessons from deployment.
If you’re responsible for your company’s strategy, performance, or oversight, we hope you’ll join us.

AI is changing both how audits are performed and what companies need to audit. Board leaders need to understand both.
An agentic audit uses AI agents to perform audit work: testing controls, analyzing transactions, gathering evidence, and investigating exceptions.
Auditing the agentic enterprise examines a business where AI agents execute transactions, make decisions, and operate workflows. Who authorized those actions? Which controls applied? Can the evidence be verified? Who is accountable?
These responsibilities increasingly intersect. When agents audit processes operated by other agents, independent assurance and professional judgment become even more consequential.
That distinction is central to the inaugural @Stanford Directors' College Agentic Audit Forum, October 23–25, 2026, presented by @StanfordRock Center for Corporate Governance and the @AlphaAIGov Institute for AI Governance.
We're proud to participate alongside this exceptional faculty:
• Malia Cohen, California State Controller
• Graeme Finley, Vice President, AI Assurance Provider Services, PACT AI
• Colleen Honigsberg, Professor of Law and Faculty Co-Director, Rock Center for Corporate Governance, Stanford Law School
• Arvind Karunakaran, Assistant Professor of Management Science & Engineering, Stanford University

• Janet S. Wong, Board Director, TWFG and Valvoline
• Steven Wolfe Pereira ⚡️, CEO, Alpha Institute for AI Governance
Through workshops, peer discussions, and a boardroom simulation, participants will examine controls, evidence, assurance, and accountability, then leave with a 90-day action plan.

We are delighted to welcome @EgonZehnder as our newest partner at Alpha, led by @lindsaytrout, Partner and Co-Lead of Egon Zehnder's Global Technology & AI Practice.
As AI reshapes how companies operate, the questions facing boards and management teams are becoming more consequential:
➡️ What capabilities do our leaders need?
➡️ How should accountability evolve?
➡️ And how do we prepare people to lead organizations where humans and AI agents work together?
Answering these questions requires expertise across the governance ecosystem. As the independent and vendor-neutral leader in AI governance intelligence for the agentic enterprise, Alpha brings together industry experts across the governance ecosystem including executive search firms, law firms, consulting firms, audit firms, exchanges, academic institutions, and technology leaders. We believe better governance starts with connecting their expertise so boardroom leaders can make smarter decisions.
Egon Zehnder joins a growing partner community that includes Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, Anthropic, Credo AI, Fathom, International Association for Safe and Ethical Artificial Intelligence, Inc., Jenner & Block, Nasdaq, Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, NYSE, OpenAI, Partnership for Assurance, Credibility, and Trust on AI, the Rock Center for Corporate Governance at Stanford University, and Spencer Stuart adding deep expertise in leadership, talent, and board composition.
Through this partnership, Egon Zehnder will work with the Alpha Institute for AI Governance across key areas including:
✅ Independent research, policy, and standards to advance governance for the agentic enterprise.
✅ Education for boardroom leaders and management teams to build the knowledge and judgment needed to oversee AI and guide business transformation.
✅ Convenings, including the Alpha Agentic Economy Summit and the Alpha Council, bringing leaders together for candid dialogue, shared learning, and practical insights.
We're excited to work with Lindsay and the Egon Zehnder team to help boards and management teams prepare for what comes next, with greater clarity, confidence, and accountability.

Why it matters: the questions boards are asking about AI agents are assurance questions.
Evaluations establish how a system behaves. Governance establishes who may deploy it, for what, under what conditions, and with what oversight.
Alpha connects those two.
"Delegating work to AI does not remove the responsibility to govern it."
@AlphaAIGov has joined @pactai_org. Their work: governance infrastructure for the agentic enterprise, the systems that document what an AI agent is authorized to do, who is accountable for its actions, and whether the controls are actually working. 🧵
As AI agents gain authority to act, how do organizations prove they are governing them responsibly?
Alpha has joined the Partnership for Assurance, Credibility, and Trust on AI (PACT AI) @pactai_org to help advance verifiable governance for the agentic enterprise.
The questions are practical:
✅ Who authorized an agent to act?
✅ What limits apply?
✅ Who is accountable?
✅ What evidence shows that its controls are working?
Answering them requires technical assurance and enterprise governance to work together. Alpha brings governance infrastructure, research from the Alpha Institute for AI Governance, and the boardroom experience of the Alpha Council to this effort.
We look forward to working with @BriTreece_ and the PACT AI coalition to connect assurance findings with the decisions boards and executives make about deploying AI, expanding its authority, and intervening when necessary.
Governance is Alpha.

The investors backing the next generation of AI companies are helping shape how authority, work, and value will be distributed across the economy.
That’s why we're especially excited to welcome @annimaniac, Co-Founding Partner at @floodgatefund, to the @AlphaAIGov Agentic Economy Summit.
Ann brings three perspectives that belong in the same boardroom conversation: how technology works, how new markets emerge, and how institutions govern consequential change.
Her Stanford University PhD focused on mathematical modeling of cybersecurity, a background directly relevant to an economy where AI agents will operate across systems, permissions, and organizational boundaries. Her early investments in @lyft, and later in AI companies including @hebbia and @CounselHealth, bring experience identifying where technical advances can change how an industry works. And her service on Lyft’s board through 2023 and as a Yale University trustee adds the institutional perspective: what happens after a promising technology becomes an organization others depend on.
For boards and business leaders, that combination is particularly valuable. We need to understand where AI creates durable advantage, how to distinguish technical capability from a viable business, and what governance must be in place as companies give these systems greater responsibility.
Ann’s background puts her at the intersection of those questions. She'll help us connect the decisions founders and investors are making today with the strategic choices boards will face tomorrow.
That is the conversation we’re bringing together at Alpha.

Mistral co-founder and CEO Arthur Mensch on open source AI and why no company will want its intelligence running on someone else's grid:
"If you assume that the entire economy is going to run on AI systems, enterprises will just want to make sure that nobody can turn off their systems."
"It's the same way if you have a factory and you connect it to the grid. You want to make sure that nobody's going to turn off the grid because they don't like you... that's one of things that open source technology can bring."
"It's also the only way you can create systems that use the folklore knowledge of your employees."
"That's the knowledge you've accrued for decades. The only way to turn it into an asset that nobody else gets access to is to create your own models based on those open source models."
"This is a technology which is so important that you don't want to be locked into a single vendor."
@arthurmensch on @BigTechPod (January 2026)
AI is changing how companies create value, manage risk, and earn trust. What does that require of the board?
On September 17, our CEO Steven Wolfe Pereira @wolfepereira will be in New York for the 50/50 Women on Boards @5050Wob Breakfast of Corporate Champions, moderating an important conversation on The State of Board Leadership and the board’s role in overseeing artificial intelligence, reputation, and risk.
He'll be joined by four experienced enterprise leaders:
• Ruth Cotter, Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, @AMD, brings experience aligning technology, people, communications, and enterprise operations through extraordinary growth.
• Richard Davis, Lead Director, @Dow; Board Director, @Mastercard and @WellsFargo, brings the perspective of a former U.S. Bank chairman and CEO with extensive experience in financial services, risk, and board leadership.
• Kirsty Graham , Chief Executive Officer, @EdelmanPR U.S., brings three decades of experience across diplomacy, corporate affairs, and communications, helping organizations navigate the intersection of business and stakeholder trust.
• Shannon Nash @shannonnash, Esq., CPA, COO/CFO, @vibrantplanet_ ; Board Director, @NETSCOUT Systems, @SoFi Bank, and @LazyDogLLC, brings financial, legal, and governance expertise, alongside firsthand experience scaling autonomous technology as the former CFO of Alphabet Inc.’s Wing.
➡️ They will explore what directors should be asking:
➡️ How do we assess whether AI is delivering business value?
➡️ Where should accountability sit as systems become more autonomous?
➡️ How do we anticipate reputational consequences before they become a crisis?
For board directors and c-suite executives, these are just a few of the questions that will increasingly shape the future of the agentic enterprise.

We’re excited to welcome Laura Desmond @LBDesmond to the Alpha Agentic Economy Summit at @Nasdaq MarketSite in New York on November 6.
Laura brings a perspective that is especially relevant to the conversation we want to have about the agentic enterprise: she operates at the intersection of AI, business transformation, and board governance.
As CEO of @Smartlyio, Laura is leading one of the most important AI-powered advertising technology companies, helping global brands connect creative, media, intelligence, and measurement. Under her leadership, Smartly has continued to expand its AI capabilities, including through acquisitions such as Viralspace.ai, Ad-Lib.io, and INCRMNTAL.
Her operating experience is matched by significant boardroom experience. Laura serves on the boards of @Adobe and @DoubleVerify, as well as Smartly. That gives her a particularly valuable vantage point on the questions boards are now confronting as AI becomes embedded across companies:
➡️ How should boards oversee AI when it increasingly shapes decisions, workflows, customer interactions, and capital allocation?
➡️ What changes when AI moves from being a tool used by employees to agents capable of taking action on behalf of the enterprise?
➡️ And what governance infrastructure will companies need to move faster with AI while maintaining accountability, authority, and trust?
Laura has spent her career at the center of major technology and media shifts, previously serving as Chief Revenue Officer of Publicis Groupe and CEO of Starcom Mediavest Group. She has also served as Chair of the Ad Council and has worked with many of the world’s leading companies, including Amazon, Coca-Cola, Visa, Spotify, Uber, and P&G.
We're looking forward to having Laura bring both the CEO perspective and the board director perspective to the Summit.
The Agentic Economy is arriving quickly. The institutions, operating models, and governance systems around it now need to catch up.
