Yet ANOTHER crash on #AltHillLane. Once again another illegal driver driving like a maniac, causing a crash that could have been fatal! Imagine if it was a horse rider they hit? 😡😡😡 Does someone have to die before @TamesideCouncil act? @tmbc_highways @ChoksiVimal

The situation on Alt Hill Lane is utterly ridiculous! I’ve just witnessed a large Volvo MPV aggressively force a young woman back up the hill - even through they met when she was 3/4 of the way down! Something must be done! @TamesideCouncil @tmbc_highways @ChoksiVimal

Yet ANOTHER accident on Alt Hill Lane - this time at the western end, at the junction with Park Bridge/Wagon Road. This is the second RTA in just 6 days! #DangerousRoad @TamesideCouncil @tmbc_highways @newsintameside @TamesideCorr @ChoksiVimal
Another accident on #AltHillLane this morning. The fourth in as many weeks! 😡 @TamesideCouncil @tmbc_highways @GMPTamesideN @newsintameside @TamesideCorr
Once again - and without notice, #AltHillLane is closed for the second day in a row. Although today, the contractors couldn’t even be bothered to put out road closed signs! Vehicle are using residents driveways to turn around! WHAT IS GOING ON? @TamesideCouncil @tmbc_highways
.@TamesideCouncil Your contractors are completely blocking #AltHillLane. Residents have had no notification that the lane is closed today. @tmbc_highways

@TamesideCouncil @tmbc_highways ‘Road Closed’ signs have gone up at the junction of Westerhill. Why have residents not been informed about this?

@TamesideCouncil @tmbc_highways ‘Road Closed’ sign gone up at the junction of Wagon Road.... next to a sign that advises that the lane will be closed for one day on ‘11TH JUNE’

Late May and late December. What a contrast! Getting out amongst nature is a real tonic every month of the year. Enjoy the Spring Bank Holiday weekend.

Yet ANOTHER serious accident on #AltHillLane. If walkers or horse riders were on that bend, then they would have been killed! @TamesideCouncil, when will you act? @tmbc_highways @newsintameside @TamesideCorr @ChoksiVimal @tmbc_leader @AngelaRayner

Yet another RTA on @AltHillLane. During the early hours of this morning a red mini smashed into the traffic calming barrier near the junction of Park Bridge Rd/Waggon Rd. @tmbc_highways @TamesideCouncil @gmptraffic @GMPTamesideN @ChoksiVimal

It’s only a matter of time before someone is seriously injured or killed on this lane! Residents raised a complaint in September 2020. We’ve begged @TamesideCouncil to take action, yet we’ve STILL have no response! @ChoksiVimal @tmbc_highways @tmbc_leader @GMPTamesideN
Access to Alt Hill Lane clear all morning, and into early afternoon. Leave for work at 1:30pm, and the lane is now blocked - meaning I’m now going to be late! Spoke to a contractor who just shrugged his shoulders! @tmbc_highways
Good morning @TamesideCouncil. #AltHillLane residents have tried to contact you several times about the black bin collection being missed this past Monday. The lane is currently closed due to roadworks, but what provisions are in place? We have rubbish building up.
1
@TamesideCouncil The roadworks are in place until 17/11/20, meaning we won’t have the black bins emptied until 30th November. With bins already full with 2 weeks worth of rubbish, we can’t wait another 4 weeks. Can you please treat this with a matter of urgency. Thanks.
As the roadworks move further up #AltHillLane, the motorists are starting to drive like maniacs past residential properties again - despite clear signage informing motorists that the lane is closed! CCTV footage acquired & reported to @gmptraffic @tmbc_highways @TamesideCouncil

Drivers are continuing to ignore the ‘Road Closed’ signs on Alt Hill Lane. Barriers are constantly being moved, and cars are squeezing through the narrowest of gaps, risking damage to resident’s parked vehicles. This is wholly unacceptable! @TamesideCouncil @tmbc_highways

Is it not a road traffic offence, to ignore road closed signs, and deliberately move barriers and cones? @gmptraffic @GMPTamesideN @InspBroadstock
