Any approach that selectively highlights antisemitism and ignores displays of hate across society is doomed to fail.
My take on the NSW governments approach to antisemitism in the wake of the Bondi Massacre.
Minns protest bans, hate speech measures, target Palestine peace protestors but yet to focus on Nazis.

I can't get over what a massive admission this is. If we lived in a world where politicians and media cared about facts, THIS would be the headline story. "ANTI-ISRAEL ATTITUDES INCREASING, ZERO INCREASE IN ANTISEMITISM."
The pro-Palestine movement has been so successful in separating opposition to Israeli atrocities from hatred toward Jews that there has been zero increase in public hatred toward Jews throughout three years of genocide. That's an incredibly impressive achievement in activism and education regarding a mass atrocity we're always told is a super duper complicated issue that's almost impossible to understand.
This one fact, by itself, completely destroys just about every argument the hasbarists have ever made about the pro-Palestine movement. People who've been taking a stand against the Gaza holocaust have been absolutely impeccable with their messaging, taking great care to help the public understand the distinction between the religion of Judaism and the apartheid state of Israel.
If mainstream pundits and politicians actually cared about truth and morality, they would be falling all over themselves to apologize and correct the record on the narrative they've been pushing that the pro-Palestine movement is responsible for a surging epidemic of antisemitism in our society. They would be telling everyone that it turns out there is in fact no epidemic of antisemitism, and the pro-Palestine movement has conducted itself with saintly meticulousness in ensuring that hatred toward the Jewish faith gains no purchase within their ranks or their message.
But mainstream pundits and politicians do not care about truth or morality. They care about promoting the interests of a genocidal apartheid state, no matter how many lies they need to tell in order to do so.
This is why instead of seeing headlines about the Bell review's finding that there has been zero increase of antisemitism among British people, we've been seeing headlines falsely claiming that British schoolchildren are evil antisemitic Nazis who must be brought to heel.
People who support Israel are disgusting, manipulative liars, and the western political/media class are the very worst among them.
The wife of prominent Sydney Rabbi Yossi Friedman comments that say “No innocent people in Gaza and don't care at all what happens to any of them”.
This is Zionism, it is a racist and genocidal ideology!

I'm not going to name the school, but the @BBC's coverage of the antisemitism in schools report featured interviews with children from a Jewish school.
Here's the rub, though.
The school's own published curriculum explicitly teaches Zionism, celebrates the establishment of Israel and describes preparing pupils to become "positive advocates for Israel" at university.
It even references bringing in organisations such as StandWithUs to prepare pupils for that advocacy.
Now, let me be absolutely clear. There is nothing wrong with teaching Jewish history, culture or identity. And antisemitism must be challenged wherever it exists.
But when children are actively encouraged to advocate for a particular state, rather than critically examine its history, policies and actions, surely we have to question whether this is education or ideological conditioning?
And here's the staggering hypocrisy.
We're being told that schools must exercise political impartiality when discussing Palestine, while a school can openly describe preparing children to advocate for Israel.
Political impartiality cannot be a principle applied selectively, depending on which side of a conflict children are encouraged to support.
And the BBC has a responsibility to scrutinise that distinction, not simply present children's views without examining the educational environment in which those views have developed.
Children deserve an education that teaches them how to think, not what to think.

i know pointing out his inconsistencies isn’t exactly groundbreaking but complaining about left wing violence and then showing support for the 1965 genocide of 1 million chinese and left wing people in indonesia on the same day is a new level lol

Hey @DHughesy, why are you sharing a guy who has been calling for political violence for the last week?

Prue it's so weird you of all people would bring up "Islamic extremism" in this instance, when you once said you were tempted to run over a prominent Muslim woman...
After this shocking @helenhainesindi (alleged) attack, some commentators are saying this is the time for Albanese to step up. That it is his John Howard Port Arthur moment & he now has to lead the nation. Given he is the man who cannot speak the words “Islamic Extremism” & who I believe is responsible for the growing intolerance & hatred & rise of anti-Semitism, I think that is virtually impossible. We cannot forgive or forget what he has created in this country. He is no leader. Never was. Never will be.

THE FACTS ARE COMING OUT, AND THE ARMCHAIR DETECTIVES HAVE SOME EXPLAINING TO DO.
The man arrested following the horrific attack on independent MP Helen Haines has been identified as Brendan Nugent, 43, from Tarrawingee, Victoria.
And guess what? The neat little political narrative that people were so desperate to push is falling apart.
Within hours of the attack, social media was flooded with people confidently declaring the attacker must be a One Nation supporter, a Muslim extremist, a radical leftist, a pro-Hamas activist or some other convenient political enemy.
There was just one tiny problem. Nobody had established who he was or why it happened.
Now we have some actual information.
According to ABC News Verify, Nugent has a history of environmental activism, criticism of both major political parties, support for Gaza and sharing conspiracy-related material.
He has expressed anti-establishment sentiments, but his political views don't fit neatly into one party's ideology.
There is no verified evidence establishing him as a One Nation supporter or an Islamist extremist.
In fact, he previously expressed support for Helen Haines herself, praising her approach to climate change.
And police have STILL not publicly established a motive.
So where does that leave everyone who immediately blamed Pauline Hanson, Muslims, the Greens, Labor or whichever group they happen to despise?
Looking rather foolish.
Here's something apparently revolutionary in Australian political discourse:
WAIT FOR THE BLOODY EVIDENCE.
Someone's environmental activism doesn't make environmentalists responsible.
Supporting Palestinians doesn't make someone a terrorist.
Criticising the government doesn't automatically make someone a right-wing extremist.
And sharing conspiracy theories doesn't establish membership of any particular political movement.
Political violence is not a team sport.
A woman has suffered catastrophic injuries. Her life has been permanently changed. Yet some people seem more interested in scoring political points than finding out what actually happened.
If you're condemning collective blame when your side is accused but enthusiastically participating when it's the other side, you're not standing up for facts.
You're practising tribal hypocrisy.
The accused deserves due process. Helen Haines deserves justice. Australians deserve facts rather than politically convenient fiction.
And anyone who spread unsupported allegations about the attacker's identity or motives should have the decency to correct themselves.
Facts over outrage. Every bloody time.

Just disgusting to see Zionists weaponising a few posts of the alleged driver as a motivator for why he attacked Helen Haines with car.
She supported Palestine, supported Israeli sanctions & the arrest warrants issued by the ICC, to suggest Palestine was a factor is delusional.

The Atlantic published this freak just a few months ago. Embarrassing.
The journalists at the @washingtonpost should themselves be investigated by the Israeli police and the @IDF as to who they are traveling with, their contacts, including relationships with terrorist organizations, foreign antizionist radicals and extremists, and their exact role in potentially inciting or instigating or engaging in violence against Israeli civilians.
