Keir Starmer called it a real injustice but that was 2 years ago when he was keen to get our votes.

It is not acceptable for minors to have sexual experiences and abhorrent to consider an experience with an adult is in any way acceptable! Of course such an awful experience is harmful to a child and if she thinks it isn't, she needs to see a psychologist because she needs help!
This is the most terrible lie I know quite a few women who have undergone such experiences, and all say it affected them adversely How dare she talk such harmful nonsense !

Wise words Mr Shatner.
Star Trek exists in more than one world. It exists in the fantasy of science fiction - weird and wonderful things that play unimaginable possibilities of exploration and human endeavor. But it also exists in the fantasy of human beings, the perfection of human beings, the exploration that human beings have made since the dawn of time and the continuing exploration - physically mentally and morally. It’s that aspect of Star Trek that I’ve always loved, to look at something physically that doesn’t exist now by these talented writers & designers but also to tackle the eternal human questions the agonies, the ecstasies. Star Trek should exist for a long time to come based on those truths. I for one would love to see its continuity. It’s with sorrow that I hear about the cancellation of the new Star Trek series.

Yes, you're quite right. And criticism was made of DS9 because it was too "dark" but the stories conveyed another side of living in space that was all gung ho adventures and first contacts.
And when the Next Gen came out; there was tons of hate because it “wasn’t Star Trek” and the cast probably was in fear from the fans. Again when the series with Bakula came out, it too was panned by the fans because it “wasn’t Star Trek.” Star Trek is different for everyone. 🤷🏼

The puzzzle is... Why on earth did they decide to come here, when there are 60 Muslim countries where their beliefs would fit in perfectly Oh ! Possibly the easy money ?
🚨BREAKING: A new poll finds 48% of Muslims living in Britain feel they don’t belong in the UK. Many claim that the rise of “Islamophobia” is making them consider leaving Britain imminently. What do you think of this? [Source: muslimcensus]

Rakusen’s is a UK company, based in Leeds, which produces matzah (unleavened bread). At Passover, which is a few weeks away, observant Jews refrain from chametz (leavened bread). Matzah is central to the Passover seder. This sticker was put here to tell Jews they’re not welcome.
In the Tesco store at Silverburn, Glasgow. Blatant antisemitism and a formal complaint is being made to customer services.

Labour MPs claimed more than £400,000 of taxpayers’ money in expenses to heat their own second homes over the last five years, but voted to cut Winter Fuel Payments for millions of pensioners. "All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others."

Every time I go to my store in Borehamwood & always use Scan and go, when I get to the till, it wants an assistant to check my trolley EVERY SINGLE TIME! I don't buy alcohol and my bill is often less than £50 so why am I targeted to have my shopping checked? @Tesco

Both the unnamed restaurant and @Tesco should be publicly shamed for treating a guide dog owner so contemptuously! It is not unlawful to take a working dog into a restaurant or food shop! bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c87x…

My husband has spent 4 days trying to contact @VictoriaPlumUK to ask about a replacement part for the shower in our flat. We were given an email address to send a photo but, 4 emails later no response. Today's call handler hung up on us.

Finding the commentators rather irritating and wish @BBCSport would give us a red button option to just watch the all the televised Olympics without the constant narration?

With the continual complaint about the ever increasing problem of obesity (pun intended!) WHY don't shops cater for those wanting sugar free foods? Gluten free/dairy free/meat free that's great but no sugar free!

Our shower control has the temperatures etched onto the metal control but you can't actually see it when you're under the shower! Sleek but impractical! Why not produce a shower control that you can actually see when the water is running in your eyes?

Everyone is worried about AI. Except the people making money from selling it. And even those people are worried about it. The worry is AI might do a complete take over we would be at its mercy. Like in the Terminator films. However. We are at the mercy of computers. Now. Today. It seems we want computers to be intelligent enough to be aware that we are at their mercy and act upon this knowledge that we are inferior and to do something about it. That would mean building in the capacity for them to experience frustration and anger with us. This may be dangerous. Below could be the pivotal moment in the history of humanity. How about we just build in mild disappointment? theguardian.com/business/art…
