#Tigray rebel groups ‘forcibly recruiting boys as young as 15’ as fighting spreads
- The Guardian theguardian.com/global-devel…
The federal government blocked all commercial bank (CBE) accounts in #Tigray. This is collective punishment. It has to stop immediately and without any preconditions.
This is in addition to what TPLF imposed in the region by cutting off telecom services and air transport.

Young men are fleeing Ethiopia’s Tigray region amid fears of forced recruitment as fighting intensifies between Tigrayan forces and Ethiopia’s federal government. Rights groups have accused Tigrayan authorities of coercive recruitment. aljazeera.com/news/2026/9/25…
Four people with knowledge of the matter, including a diplomatic source, told Reuters that Tigray's ruling party,#TPLF, had ordered private operator Safaricom and state-owned Ethio telecom to cut off access to phone and internet networks in the region.
Earlier this month, a risk advisory note shared with diplomats and reviewed by Reuters said that the TPLF had taken steps to disrupt telecommunications services in Tigray by removing Ethio telecom transformers in several towns.

#Tigray is in blockout. Communication shutdown in the capital Mekelle is underway. This time the culprit is from within Tigray itself. It’s the TPLF. It would be difficult to get records of atrocities from Tigray now. But, we will do our best to keep you posted.
Peace.
After Pretoria peace deal, old enemies in Ethiopia’s #Tigray find new ground | News | Al Jazeera aljazeera.com/news/2026/9/5/…
Abiy was the best leader in the world for shabia Eritreans, including this online troll, from 2018-2022 . Reason? Because he was their sole sponsor for Eritreans to commit war crime, crime against humanity, ethnic cleansing and genocide in Tigray.
Ethiopia’s populist leader Abiy Ahmed has been missing from TV for over two weeks and somehow missed the the closing ceremony of his own 40-day long National Dialogue forum, despite his favorite crisis managers, Uhuru Kenyatta and Olusegun Obasanjo showing up.
Rumors say he’s in Abu Dhabi for a medical checkup, involving his head, allegedly.
Apparently, even the head of state needs to have his head checked. ያው ፀሎቱን አታሳንሱ ...

And, Eritrea worked with him to commit genocide in #Tigray. 😎
Prime Minister Corporal Abiy Ahmed Ali, PhD, declared on television that Barentu, a town deep in Eritrea’s western lowlands, belongs to the Oromo. He skipped Amhara, Tigray and Afar and landed straight in Eritrea. This was meant to be a threat. “I can convince sixty million Oromos of anything, and I can march them to war.” He insults the Oromo far more than he threatens anyone else. Most of them already know how little he thinks of them. The rest of the world knows how little he thinks at all. Ethiopia is reduced to being governed by a man who performs these imbecilic tricks and imagines no one notices. Clowns at least know their station. This grotesque impostor has no self-awareness.
