I created the London Borough of Culture to bring culture to underserved communities. It’s the DNA of our city. Strictly Wandsworth brought together more than 200 dancers from local groups - the biggest dance event the borough has seen. I can’t wait to see what’s next in 2025!
This morning - a space where the old tree was - this afternoon a tree! Great to see new planting on our streets!
Good to see planting in the rain gardens on #chestnutgrove - in spring we should see all the soil covered!
Now that's a book I should be able to find in @OxfamBalham !

We had a wonderful evening with Katherine May for a Q&A on her book ‘Wintering’.
We talked about a huge range of subjects including wintering rituals, cultural differences in how people read the book, cold water swimming bucket lists, and how to inspire others to slow down.
Love this poster in @Better_Balham and the pink bin! Recycle small electrical items in the Library @wandbc

#FlashbackFriday – the Grade II listed Kings Head pub has long been a familiar sight in #Tooting since it was first built in 1896. Here it is in the 1970s (we're guessing), and as you can see, not much has changed!
