A Qwen3-8B model beat much larger models at evaluating AI agent compliance.
That’s one of the more interesting findings from our new CompliBench work at Cresta.
Turns out better evaluators may come from better training data—not just bigger models.

The big issue with Nvidia isn’t the earnings they delivered last quarter (set record, beat expectations).
It’s demand risk in the future. At 70 times LTM earnings, it doesn’t matter what they delivered yesterday. It’s twelve / twenty four months from now. And it’s still not cheap.
Attended a Village Global talk with @RayDalio + Reid Hoffman.
Most interesting insight: for ~35 years Dalio wrote the criteria behind big decisions. Then at regular points backtesting against outcomes creating a system for systematic improvement.
Basically RL for investing → helped scale Bridgewater into a ~$90B AUM behemoth, before age of LLMs.
Fascinating talk. Thanks @villageglobal for hosting!

1 in 10 adults on Earth have used ChatGPT. Largest study to date (NBER/OpenAI) shows some surprising trends:
- Work use shrinking. 70% of chats are non-work: advice, learning, fun
- Writing >code: usage skews to drafting emails & reports vs programing
- Stratified: high-income professionals lean on it more for work
- Killer feature vs Google isn't search - it's output. ChatGPT doesn't just find info, it creates text, code, drafts

Favorite detail from OSS launch: a demo showing the model searching current information on the internet to find (accurate) info on the model params, matching the official model spec released 4 days later.

New update! The opportunity for AI transformation has never been greater. But the biggest challenges have been around expertise around deployment and change management.
So excited to share I'm the new head of product for Count - we aim to reimagine the accounting industry using the power of AI. The team has a mix of M&A expertise in the space, long term capital relationships, and technology chops / commitment to accelerate AI transformations and unlock value.
Many thanks to @eerac , Rohit Chande, @o1_johnlee and the entire team for the opportunity, and excited for what we will build together! And to Alice Inchauspe and @leftlanecap for a platform to share a preview perspective at the incredible Times Center auditorium at the Fast Growth Summit a few weeks back.
