PDFs can hide sensitive metadata like names or addresses. 🕵️‍♂️ Standard editors may miss it, leaving info exposed. ⚠️ Redactable fully removes it to prevent data leaks. 🔒 Try it now ⬇️ hubs.ly/Q02TnLps0

Redaction by drawing boxes over text with a marker has been the go-to method for years, but it’s highly prone to errors. ⚠️ Manual redactions can: ⏳ Take up to *50x* longer than automated solutions. 🚶 Fade away or be manipulated with over time, exposing sensitive information. ⛔️ Make tracking and auditing nearly impossible.

Redacting sensitive info in PDF editors takes a lot of effort as you have to manually draw boxes over text. ⏳ But even so, those boxes don’t actually remove the underlying data. ✒️ Plus, metadata with sensitive info stays intact, leading to errors and leaks. ⛓️‍💥 What’s better? Redactable’s AI-powered redactions! 😎

Manual redaction is an absolute time sink. 😓 It takes people hours or even days to physically review documents, identify sensitive information, and obscure it using markers, correction fluid, or PDF editors. ⏳ Don't waste time on outdated methods! ✋

Ran into a founder today on the street. He had a big smile on his face. You see, two months ago he ran out of money. Sales were taking longer than expected which set them back. But the team remained confident in their approach and put their heads down. Then in September, they closed a $5m round from a tier one VC. Founder is smiling, several lessons learned and this startup will live to see another day…💪🏼

Why do some people feel it’s necessary to “humble” founders? Most founders are their own worst enemies and harshest critics. Any tiny shimmer of success probably just bought them a few more weeks of motivation. Be nice.

Startups are hard as hell. They take years to build. You'll be stressed a lot. You'll work long hours. You'll think about giving up. Remember why you started. You wanted to solve a problem. You wanted to help people at scale. You wanted to change a market. So do that.

VCs now realizing Silicon Valley has a public image problem and suggesting we increase PR efforts and participation in politics to make clear that Silicon Valley problems are every American's problems… A better (and easier) starting point might simply be investing in more underrepresented founders that live outside of SV and NYC. At the very least, we won't have to all retweet the same female founder in Ohio next time.

There are lots of mistakes VCs can make like paying too high of a price, investing in companies that fail, giving bad advice, and plenty more. But because VC returns follow the power law THE biggest mistake a VC can make is not investing in the one company that will matter.

The hardest thing any founder can do, is build a company that their parents can actually understand 😂

INVESTORS TREAT SOLO FOUNDERS UNFAIRLY and it should stop in 2023 One thing I got a lot as a founder and hear from founders often today is the pressure they feel from investors to "find a Co-founder". I think this advice is terrible/unnecessary in 2023 for many reasons. 🧵 – at Trenton, NJ
