This team 🙏 Early starts, late finishes, long hours - couldn’t be more grateful for the effort that went into #Budget23 #auspol

Luckily there’s a crèche at Parliament House to take in some of the older tantrum throwers #auspol

Or Sydney. I like old school 😉
Replying to @cheryl_kernot
Yep. And next week I’ll be on the Albanese bus. And I’ll be on and off the buses for the entire six weeks. Call me old school but I firmly believe campaigns need to be reported from the campaign trail, not from an office in Canberra.

More footage of people watching as a fire consumes the front entrance to Old Parliament House in Canberra. Police and other agencies will have lots of footage to work with as they investigate. xitter.cf/TheJuggernaut88/status…

Is it any wonder, the number of children born to Australian women has fallen to a record low 1.58 - far below population replacement rates, before immigration.
When I used to read about childcare costs I would wonder how anyone affords it. Well, with two kids in three days a week now I know the answer: you go into debt

So true @benlewismedia …excellent choice 👌🏼
Wonderful location for our lives tonight. Les Murray once wrote about how he always tried to find beautiful backdrops when broadcasting abroad- rather than somewhat drab ‘official venues’. It’s a good philosophy. Nice to take people on a tour of a city like this.

Three men in Canberra, Australia rescued a kangaroo stranded in the shallow waters of Lake Burley Griffin on Tuesday. The kangaroo was spotted in the lake at sunrise on what was a very cold morning.

Wow, just caught ABC reporter @FerrierSteph covering the Melbourne protests, the earthquake and covid numbers in the one cross. Talk about the national broadcaster getting bang for its buck! 😉

Unbelievable. First day of #ACTlockdown and Kambah Pool is packed when it's supposed to be closed. Just look at all these people.

Interesting insights from @dr_westendorf as many Australians deal with successive COVID lockdowns, closed borders & a delayed vaccine rollout. Worth a read…. gnet-research.org/2021/07/30…
