Across 18 locations, @RepAmenBrown’s food giveaways help 1,100 families in North and West Philly every week.
Proud to join him in West Philly and see real community leadership in action: neighbors showing up for neighbors.

After federal food aid cuts earlier this year, @RepAmenBrown used his @padempolicy hearing to focus on hunger in PA. In the recently passed PA budget, @PaHouseDems delivered more funding for food banks and hungry families.

We’ve delivered more than $600 million to address violence since I took office — money that supports community-based programs led by local experts, who know their neighborhoods best.
And let me tell you, it’s working.
Because of that work, fatal gun violence is down 42% across the Commonwealth – and more kids have the freedom to dream big dreams of a future full of opportunity.

⚠️ The 911 system in Pennsylvania is having some outages across the Commonwealth. We are working with technical experts to resolve the issue and restore service as quickly as possible.
Please only call 911 for true emergencies. Do not call just to check whether it is working.
If you can't get through and need emergency response, call your local 911 office directly. Find yours: readypa.info/psaps

Today, I signed 8 bipartisan bills into law — because here in Pennsylvania, we still believe in coming together to get stuff done.
We’re modernizing licensing rules, supporting our veterans, expanding educational access for military families, protecting our waterways, and safeguarding folks from AI-driven scams.
This what progress looks like.

Today, we honor Juneteenth, a powerful reminder of liberation and resilience.
As we remember the past, we also recommit to building a just future for all.

Thanks @RepAmenBrown for supporting #EnvironmentalJustice and voting YES to move HB 109 out of committee today. Communities with the most #pollution in PA are one step closer to breathing easier!

BREAKING: The villages in Florida, typically dominated by MAGA extremists, have been completely taken over by Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign. This is a remarkable turnaround. Retweet so all Americans see this campaign’s energy and enthusiasm.
This vote…. is for our today and our tomorrow. This election… is for our present and our future.
I’M WITH HARRIS! @VP

I was proud to support legislation that would increase penalties for street racing and the organizers of these meet ups, especially for my neighbors near Benjamin Franklin Parkway and JFK Boulevard who deal with this too often.

Approximately 442,000 payments were issued to people who submitted an application for PTRR, that’s about $266 million in the pockets of hardworking Pennsylvanians!

For Juneteenth, let's honor our history by reflecting on it and reaffirming commitment to the fight for equality.
A reminder that my office will be closed tomorrow, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth.

Electric Vehicles aren’t a futuristic concept- they’re here now! I was excited to try a few out last week, they’re easier on the environment and your wallet too! As a car collector, EVs are a new and exciting way to travel throughout PA & beyond @PennEnvironment

The continued criminalization of cannabis disproportionately impacts Black and brown folks in our communities. @SenSharifStreet and I have bills to end cannabis prohibition and bring equity and opportunity to cannabis-related business opportunities for all.
