Gold is at an interesting crossroads right now👀
$XAUT is trading around $4,298, while markets are watching the Fed closely.
So, what happens if gold faces more pressure?
$XAUT is Tether Gold, with each XAUT representing one fine troy ounce of physical gold. It brings gold exposure onto the blockchain.
My short-term thesis: 📉 BEARISH
Rising oil prices are keeping inflation concerns high, while the dollar and US Treasury yields have been moving higher
Markets are also expecting a Fed rate hike, which can put pressure on non-yielding assets like gold.
That makes the upcoming Fed decision a potential volatility catalyst for $XAUT.
Here’s how I’d express that view using @CoinDCX $XAUT Options:
🎯 4300 PUT
Current XAUT: ~$4,298
⚡ 16 Sep expiry
Premium: ~19.25
Break-even at expiry: ~4,280.75
📅 25 Sep expiry
Premium: ~71.83
Break-even at expiry: ~4,228.17
Same strike. Different expiry. BIG difference in risk.
The 16 Sep Put costs much less, but gives the trade very little time for the expected move to happen.
The 25 Sep Put costs more, but gives the thesis more time to play out.
For example, if $XAUT finishes at $4,250 at expiry:
16 Sep 4300 Put:
Intrinsic value = $50
Approx. payoff after premium = $30.75
25 Sep 4300 Put:
Intrinsic value = $50
Approx. payoff after premium = -$21.83
This is why options aren't simply about predicting direction.
⏱️ You also need to get the STRIKE + EXPIRY + RISK right.
The @CoinDCX $XAUT Options Chain makes this comparison simple. I can compare different expiries, strikes, premiums and bid/ask prices before entering a trade.
And for eligible CoinDCX users, the platform currently offers a ₹0 brokerage benefit through daily fee refunds up to 1M USDT cumulative Options Notional Volume.
$XAUT Options can provide another way to trade gold volatility when macro and geopolitical events create large market moves.
The key isn't simply predicting where gold goes.
It's choosing the option setup that best matches HOW FAST and HOW FAR you expect it to move
Trade $XAUT Options on CoinDCX and make the most of opportunities created by tokenized gold volatility.

Same BTC. Same expiry. Same bullish view
So why can two Calls have completely different risk? 👀
I checked the 16 Sep $BTC Options chain on CoinDCX
BTC: $76,363.15
🔹 75,500 Call
Premium: $1,164.68
Breakeven: $76,664.68
🔹 77,000 Call
Premium: $406.44
Breakeven: $77,406.44
The 77,000 Call looks tempting because it is around 65% cheaper.
But here is the catch 👇
BTC only needs to move about 0.4% from the current level to reach the 75,500 Call breakeven.
For the 77,000 Call, BTC needs to move about 1.4%.
That is a very different bet when there is only around 15 hours left to expiry.
So if my bullish thesis is:
“BTC is likely to move higher, but I am expecting a moderate move rather than a huge breakout.”
I would prefer the 75,500 Call.
Yes, I am paying more upfront.
But I am also choosing a strike that better matches the move I am expecting.
And that is the thing with options:
The cheapest Call is not automatically the best Call.
Strike selection changes the premium, breakeven and probability profile of the trade.
This is why I like checking the @CoinDCX Options chain before entering. I can compare different strikes for the same expiry and see exactly how much I am paying for each bullish view.
Same market view does not mean the same trade.
Before buying a Call, ask yourself:
→ How big a move am I actually expecting?
→ How much premium am I willing to pay?
→ Where is my breakeven?
→ Does that breakeven realistically fit my thesis?
Pick the strike that matches your expected move, not just the one with the lowest premium

The iPhone launch can create hype. But can it actually move $AAPL?
That’s the interesting part.
A new iPhone can impact Apple’s business through upgrades, consumer demand, sales and ultimately revenue.
But for the stock market, a “successful” launch isn’t enough
What matters is expectation vs reality.
If investors were expecting huge demand and Apple delivers exactly that, the stock may have already priced it in.
But if demand, sales or future guidance come in stronger than expected, that can create fresh upside.
I checked the $AAPL setup on CoinDCX and the chart is already showing a strong move.
📊 $AAPL is around $332.50, trading close to the recent $336 high
So this is the level I’d be watching:
🟢 Bullish case: AAPL breaks above $336 and holds → momentum could strengthen and the post-launch move may have more room.
🔴 Bearish case: Price gets rejected around $336 and falls below the recent support zone → momentum could start fading.
🔄 Reversal: A clear break below the recent higher-low structure would weaken the bullish thesis.
But the chart alone isn't the whole story.
To sustain an upside move, I’d want to see strong iPhone demand, healthy sales expectations, improving investor sentiment and positive future guidance.
That’s why I wouldn't trade just because “new iPhone = Apple bullish.”
The launch is the catalyst
The $AAPL price action tells you how the market actually feels about it.
On @CoinDCX, you can analyse the AAPL chart and use the tokenised AAPL setup to take a Long or Short leveraged position based on your view.
For me, the thesis is simple:
Don't trade the hype. Trade the reaction 📉

A $250 difference in strike can completely change the trade 👀
A strike price is the price at which an options contract can be exercised.
But even nearby strikes can have different premiums, breakevens and profit potential.
On CoinDCX, $BTC is around $78,710, with both options expiring 9 Sep 2026.
I compared two nearby Calls:
$78,500 Call
Premium: $520
Breakeven: $79,020
Required move: +$310
$78,750 Call
Premium: $380
Breakeven: $79,130
Required move: +$420
Now assume BTC reaches $80,000 at expiry.
$78,500 Call: $1,500 − $520 = $980 profit
$78,750 Call: $1,250 − $380 = $870 profit
So the $78,500 strike gives higher absolute profit and a lower breakeven, while the $78,750 strike requires a slightly larger move but gives a higher return relative to the premium paid.
Same BTC. Same expiry. Just a $250 strike difference, but the trade economics change.
Compare nearby strikes, premiums and breakevens on CoinDCX Options before choosing the one that fits your market view.
The strike you choose can matter just as much as getting the direction right

OPEC+ has kept October oil production unchanged
That was broadly expected, so the decision itself wasn’t a huge surprise.
What makes it interesting is everything happening around it.
Iran related disruptions are already affecting oil flows, with shipping through the Strait of Hormuz still well below normal levels.
At the same time, OPEC+ has decided not to make another production increase for October
So now I’m watching two scenarios.
If the Iran situation gets worse and oil flows remain disrupted, keeping OPEC+ production unchanged could add more pressure to an already tight physical market. That’s the bullish setup.
In that case, traders who are already positioned long could have more reason to stay there, while fresh buyers could step in if crude breaks higher.
But the bigger surprise would be the opposite
If tensions ease and oil flows start returning to normal, the supply fears could fade quickly.
That could take some of the geopolitical premium out of crude and trigger a bearish move as long positions get unwound.
And that’s why I wouldn’t trade the OPEC+ headline alone.
I’d watch the actual supply and shipping data.
If the disruption continues to worsen, I’d look for confirmation before taking a leveraged long on tokenized Oil Futures on @CoinDCX
I’d keep the leverage moderate because oil can move aggressively when geopolitics is driving the market.
If the supply picture starts improving instead, the short side becomes the setup I’d watch
The headline gives you the story
The supply data gives you the trade

An option premium isn't expensive just because the number looks high.
Before judging it, check three things:
🎯 How far is the strike?
⏳ How much time is left?
⚡ What is the expected volatility?
These factors shape the probability and potential value of the option.
Price first. Context second.
Why can two BTC Calls have completely different premiums? 👀
Because options are pricing probability + time + volatility.
Closer strike = generally higher probability
More time = more opportunity.
Higher expected volatility = bigger potential move.
The premium is telling you more than just the price
It tells you what the market is pricing into that opportunity.
Why does one BTC option cost more than another? 👀
I was checking the BTC options chain on @CoinDCX and found a simple example.
$BTC was trading around 79,262 $USDT, with expiry on 29 Aug.
Two Call options stood out:
79,000 Call: Mark price 707.43 USDT
80,000 Call: Mark price 287.43 USDT
So why is the 79,000 Call priced much higher?
It comes down to three things.
Strike price 🎯
The 79,000 Call is closer to the current BTC price and is already in the money.
BTC only needs to stay above 79,000 at expiry for the option to have intrinsic value.
The 80,000 Call is out of the money and needs BTC to move higher before expiry.
That difference in probability is reflected in the premium.
Time ⏳
Both options have the same expiry, so they have the same amount of time left.
If there were more time until expiry, BTC would have more opportunity to make the required move, which generally makes an option more valuable.
Expected volatility⚡
Volatility matters too.
When the market expects bigger BTC price movements, the chances of an option reaching a profitable level can increase. That can push option premiums higher.
So when you look at an option premium on CoinDCX, don't just ask whether it looks expensive or cheap.
Ask:
How far is the strike from BTC?
How much time is left?
How much movement is the market expecting?
That is what the premium is really telling you.
It is not just a number you pay.
It is the market pricing the opportunity, time and expected movement behind that option.
Check the BTC options chain on CoinDCX and look at the premium differently 👀
#LearnKaroCryptoKaro
You can be right about BTC and still lose because you were too late.
That is where expiry matters.
Say BTC is at $80K and you expect it to move to $85K.
But ask yourself first:
“How soon do I expect that move?”
If you expect it today, a very short expiry might fit your thesis.
If you expect the move over the next few days, you need more time.
And if your view is longer term, choosing an expiry that is too close can put unnecessary pressure on the trade.
Why?
Because of Theta.
Theta is basically the cost of time in an options trade. As expiry gets closer, an option’s time value generally decays, and that decay can speed up as expiration approaches.
So with a short expiry, you have less time for your idea to play out, while the option can lose time value faster.
That is why I do not think the question is:
“Which expiry is best?”
It is:
“How long does my trade actually need?”
On @CoinDCX, you can choose your expiry based on your market view and the expected speed of the move.
Direction tells you where.
Expiry tells you how much time you are giving yourself to get there.
Get the direction right but the timing wrong, and the trade can still work against you.
Match your expiry with the speed of your thesis⚡
#LearnKaroCryptoKaro
Your expected move and confidence in that move should influence the strike you choose.
Say $BTC is trading at $100K.
If you expect a moderate move higher, a strike closer to $100K generally gives you a higher probability of finishing ITM.
But if you have strong conviction that BTC could make a sharp move, you may be willing to go farther OTM.
Why?
Because you’re accepting a lower probability in exchange for a much higher potential percentage return.
That’s the trade-off behind strike selection.
Higher probability usually means lower potential return.
Lower probability can mean much higher potential return.
Neither approach is automatically better. It depends on the move you expect and how much probability you’re willing to sacrifice for a bigger payoff.
Delta can help compare strikes and understand their relative probability, but it should support your analysis, not replace it.
Start with your expected move. Then compare the available strikes and choose the probability and payoff profile that fits your view.
On @CoinDCX, don’t just look for the cheapest option. Build your strike around the move you actually expect 🎯
Cheap options can be tempting.
Especially when you see something like:
“Only $2. If BTC pumps, this can 10x.”
But here's what that $2 price doesn't tell you.
Say $BTC is at $100K.
You expect a move of around $3K.
A $103K call is close to your expected move.
A $110K call is much farther away.
The $110K call may cost less, but it also has a much lower probability of finishing in the money.
That’s the trade-off:
Higher probability → usually lower percentage return potential
Lower probability → potentially much higher percentage returns
The mistake is looking at the premium and thinking:
“Cheaper = better.”
You're not just choosing an option price.
You're choosing how much probability you're willing to give up for a bigger payoff
The cheapest option isn’t always the best option
Say $BTC is trading at $100K and you expect a $5K move.
Your strike choices could look like:
$95K → ITM (In the Money) → higher probability, lower upside
$100K → ATM (At the Money) → balanced
$105K → OTM (Out of the Money) → lower probability, higher upside
$110K → Far OTM → much lower probability, huge upside if BTC runs
So what should you pick?
It depends on what you expect BTC to actually do.
Strike selection is basically a trade-off between probability and payoff.
Don’t choose a strike just because the premium looks cheap.
Choose it based on your expected move 🎯

If you’re early in your career do this to 10x your network.
Have a 2 hour block on your calendar every Friday to just connect people you think are interesting.
- Do this with no expectations.
- Keep a tab on those intros to see if the folks you connect meet and truly connect.
- Make more intros for the folks that do and stop making intros for those that don’t.
I did it for a few years and that led to a lot of my friends and acquaintances from across life phases and chapters to become friends.
Some of them met and ended up doing business together.
Some catch up on a regular basis and even play sports together.
A few even meet each other in different countries when one or the other is visiting.
The beautiful part is that this costs close to nothing and has a compounding effect on your life and those in your vicinity.
