Take a trip back in time with us through all of the signature cocktails that @GrainAndGlassJQ have served up over the years π
Are you looking forward to trying their #BCW2024 Summer Edition concoction?
A really fascinating night with Mark talking all things @bladnochwhisky this evening. Itβs great to properly taste through a range of whiskies from this distillery. The 14 sherry cask was the winner!
We have an awesome competition running with @IndependentBham at the moment to win a whisky tasting...
Whisky tasting and Father's Day go together like Hall & Oates. It's a good thing then that we've one of the very best whisky bars in the UK right here in Brum. Book yourself a whisky tasting session at @GrainAndGlassJQ and win at Father's Day. Nicely done:Β grainandglass.co/private-tasβ¦
About to jump on the train to @thewhiskyevent. Really looking forward to this one - it was very impressive last year!
Who else is attending?
Always good to stop off @TobDistillery to see whatβs available. This is a 9yr fully matured red wine cask.
Beautiful weather on the west coast. @DunollieOban looking stunning on the way out to Mull.
Cheers from @ObanMalt - one of my favourite distilleries. Easy to find, and lots of things to do in the area. Fully booked for tours but the bar is open.
So glad to get our hands on this for the bar.
Iβve visited @ardnahoe a few times and loved what they were doing, and their ethos behind whisky making. Itβs been a long wait as I recall being on Islay in 2018 when their stills ran for the first time. A palpable excited was felt!
Whisky people. I'm looking for an English whisky finished/matured in beer/stout/ale casks. I'm already onto Filey Bay and White Peak. For a beer weekend special.
A good spot by eagle-eyed @VJOsgood with this article suggesting whisky is an ultra-processed food due to all the additives it contains.

So gutted to hear this. It seems the culture of Birmingham is being run roughshod over. Such a part of the city landscape and only recently taken over, this is a very sad loss.

Thinking about how lucky & grateful we are for such a supportive & enthusiastic whisky-loving community in Brum. We've had so many guests walk through our doors & share our passion for whisky. If you're one of those people β thank you! We wouldn't be here without your supportπ
We still have a few haggis scotch eggs left for the third offer in our Burnsβ trilogy. Served warm, with Buckfast hot sauce, Irn Bru ketchup and a dram of @Ardbeg and @TheGlenmorangie 10s. Β£10.
Great night @GrainAndGlassJQ with the first of three Burnsβ activities. Working with @whitepeakwhisky and Rodriquez Events for an evening of whisky tasting Scottish inspired tapas. β at Birmingham, England
