taking a break between meetings today I went outside and sowed a few forget-me-not seeds, which if they flower have a colour not unlike the sky I sowed them under

Just had first meeting with my lovely new @NHSCommsDev mentee - looking forward to learning & developing together!

I lost my lovely Grandad on Monday & have been full of gratitude & sadness since. One of the things I’m grateful for are my amazing colleagues @CareQualityComm who understand the importance of family and friends & my much loved team @CQCProf who are always so thoughtful ❤️

today’s nice thing is that @K_Eisenstein sent me a surprise BAY TREE in the post 💚 which is so (typically) thoughtful and kind of her

oh god I did it, I caved & cut my own fringe. pls @CareQualityComm colleagues do NOT laugh at me on Teams calls tomorrow

today’s nice thing: confronted with leftovers I made a pie & it was delicious. Good job as this is my tea for next couple of nights.

last night I attempted to switch my brain off Covid-19 related matters & relax by taking this to bed to read - only managed to read the cast of characters 😂 before i fell asleep

I lost someone very close to me a couple of weeks ago, its been and continues to be a hard time, but I am so glad for my lovely and caring time @CQCProf who gave me this very thoughtful gift, to help me plan a trip I'm going on and give me something joyful to do
