I sold my 4 ounces of Gold on Feb 15th 2025 to buy Bitcoin.
Gold’s price at the time: $2,883
Bitcoin’s price at the time: $97,500
If I would have held my gold it would have been up $4,448 total today and the Bitcoin I bought is down $1,964.
But as you can see in the pic, if I would have bought Bitcoin instead of the gold on the days I bought the gold I would have netted about $14,300 more than the gold.
Bitcoin is a long term play as I understood in 2025. I expect the Bitcoin to far outpace gold in the next 10 years and beyond.
