Google just got one step closer to a quantum computer that could take nearly a third of all bitcoin.

In quantum the deployment problem is worse. Multiple hardware architectures built on entirely different physical principles.
AI industry figured out that deployment is the bottleneck. Quantum hasn't.
Yet.
IBM surveyed 750 organizations across 28 countries. The top barrier to quantum readiness isn't hardware or algorithms
It's skills. 61% cite talent as the primary obstacle. In the most committed organizations, it's 90%
The workforce to execute the transition isn't there yet
The entire quantum computing industry made ~$1B in 2025
The market to prepare for quantum? $2.8B-$7.8B by 2030
You don't need a working quantum computer to build a billion-dollar industry around it. You just need the reasonable expectation that one is coming
