When the most crucial conversation of your day revolves around life and death, everything else becomes pretty... irrelevant? It must be, (I thought) for most. Yet, some humans care more about things that will be forgotten faster than they will!📍 what remains? love and truth.

What do you believe they will say about you? That, my friends, can help us structure our priorities and determine what and whom shall matter most in our lives. It shows us what to pay attention to and what to ignore. Life is truly very short. ⏬

Very few will be the “lucky grandparents’ who get to live through many “life stages”. The choice of what to spend your time on, whom to listen to, and what to believe is worth your attention, is easier as we remember: To dust we shall return. All of us. And *only* love endures.

Mom was a brilliant engineer. Top of her class & often the only woman in the “table”. A trailblazer + outstanding servant leader. She shared many sayings, a wisdom I have slowly unpacked over time (she passed when I was a teen). I smile every single time she speaks into my life⏬

None of these were exclusive to my household! But in my memory, all still “sound” in *her voice*. I left here a small collection of many different sayings that suddenly interrupt my days. Some make me smile… others remind me who I am. A bit of Caribbean 🇨🇴 joy, Music & wisdom.
