"You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We’ll preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on Earth, or we’ll sentence them to take the last step into a thousand years of darkness. If we fail, at least let our children and our children’s children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done." - Ronald W. Reagan, A Time for Choosing, October 27, 1964

Today, for no reason in particular, I wish we had @ScottAdamsSays to explain his '2 Movies, 1 Screen' metaphor.

For the record: The Super King Burrito at Fiesta Taqueria in Puyallup, WA is over $20 (after tax/tip) and it's well worth every penny!

Yup
The left quickly realized that if the boogeyman of white supremacy disappeared, so did their power. So they literally funded it. If I had to guess there are plenty more boogeymen where that came from.

There's a Bitcoin as money insurance argument to be made: At 8B people, there are 262k sats/person (or 0.00262 BTC). Your individual share of all the Bitcoin that will ever exist is $300. If by some miracle a Bretton-Woods III or BRICS saves the global fiat system and Bitcoin goes to $0, than your $300 is no different than the premium on a term life policy, if you don't die. BUT IF IT DOESN'T, $300 is all you need as a hedge against the failure of fiat. $3k secures 10x your share of all the Bitcoin. $1200 can secure the share for a family of 4. You can think Bitcoin is stupid or like digital Beanie Babies or maybe you're 60s/70s w/ a portfolio working as planned and don't see a need to change. Cool, but not buying an insurance policy for a 1-time premium of $300 to $3k as a hedge against the failure of global fiat is just irresponsible.

Well…I guess any hope of reconciliation between Elon and Trump is officially over. Hell of an accusation to make… It begs the question: Did you know and not say anything…or are you speculating? Because if it's a false accusation it’s one of the worst you can make. If its true then he belongs in prison. Are you making the accusation because you have proof? If so, can we please for the love of God see it. But if you're just making a wild accusation because you're pissed, that’s pretty horrible.

So this has been my thing for a while now. Ues to this... and everyone registers for civil service at say 16 or 18. (Exceptions for severely disabled kids) You don't have to do anything, but if you want to qualify for government-backed loans, in-state tuition, welfare bennies, etc... you need (or are getting) some number of service credits. You get credits by joining the military reserve, a forest management crew, graffiti removal team, local volunteer work, etc. Once you get enough credits, which you should be able to get doing a day a month or 2 weeks a year for 10 years, you're qualified for life.
🚨BREAKING: Should able-bodied adults on welfare be required to be available for work for their local government doing things like trash pickup, mowing, cleaning, helping elderly and other jobs to improve their community? YES or NO?

A more realistic scenario: if 1/3 of America's est. 25M millionaires decide they want 0.1 BTC in their portfolio, they would buy over a 1/3 of the BTC currently held on exchanges. This alone would cause a major supply shock.
JUST IN: BlackRock says "if every millionaire in the US asked their financial advisor to get them 1 bitcoin, there wouldn’t be enough."

How can there possibly be 1,039 people 220-229? We only have 100 US Senators.
As a friend of mine described it, this is like an amazing puzzle, uncovering the secrets of an ancient civilization that went extinct … except it’s still around 😂
