भव्य एकता परेड के माध्यम से राष्ट्रीय एकता का संदेश! राष्ट्रीय एकता दिवस–2026 के अवसर पर अंडमान एवं निकोबार पुलिस द्वारा श्री विजय पुरम में मरीना पार्क मार्ग पर एक भव्य एकता परेड का आयोजन किया गया। यह परेड एसवीपीएमसी धर्मशाला से जेएनआरएम तक आयोजित की गई, जिसमें अंडमान एवं निकोबार द्वीपसमूह के माननीय उपराज्यपाल डॉ. दिनेश शर्मा जी मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित रहे। प्लाटून कमांडर श्री अभिजीत सिरोही, भा.पु.से, के नेतृत्व में आयोजित इस परेड में अंडमान एवं निकोबार पुलिस (पुरुष एवं महिला), भारतीय रिजर्व बटालियन, अग्निशमन सेवा, पुलिस बैंड, महिला पाइप बैंड, गृह रक्षक बल और राष्ट्रीय आपदा मोचन बल के जवानों ने भाग लिया। शानदार मार्च-पास्ट ने अनुशासन, समर्पण, देशभक्ति और एकता की भावना को प्रदर्शित किया। इस अवसर पर माननीय उपराज्यपाल जी ने तीनों जिलों में तैनाती के लिए 23 नए पुलिस नियंत्रण कक्ष (पीसीआर) वाहनों को भी हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया। इन वाहनों से पुलिस की गश्त और कार्यक्षमता बढ़ेगी तथा आपातकालीन परिस्थितियों में लोगों को जल्द सहायता मिल सकेगी। अपने संबोधन में माननीय उपराज्यपाल डॉ. दिनेश शर्मा जी ने भारत के लौह पुरुष सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की। उन्होंने विशेष रूप से युवाओं से सरदार पटेल के एकता, अखंडता और सामूहिक जिम्मेदारी के आदर्शों को अपनाने का आह्वान किया। पुलिस महानिदेशक श्री रवीन्द्र सिंह यादव, भा.पु.से, ने प्रभावी पुलिसिंग, मादक पदार्थों की तस्करी के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई और जनभागीदारी के माध्यम से सुरक्षित एवं नशामुक्त समाज बनाने के लिए अंडमान एवं निकोबार पुलिस की प्रतिबद्धता दोहराई। राष्ट्रीय एकता दिवस के अवसर पर द्वीपसमूह के 26 पुलिस थानों, 8 पुलिस इकाइयों और 4 अग्निशमन केंद्रों में भी विभिन्न कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए गए। देशव्यापी राष्ट्रीय एकता दिवस समारोह के तहत अंडमान एवं निकोबार पुलिस के 12 जवानों की एक विशेष टीम राष्ट्रीय मोटरसाइकिल रैली–2026 में भी भाग ले रही है। “नशे के खिलाफ लड़ाई” संदेश के साथ यह टीम विभिन्न राज्यों में लोगों, विद्यार्थियों और युवाओं को नशे के दुष्प्रभावों के प्रति जागरूक कर रही है। यह टीम 31 अक्टूबर 2026 को गुजरात के एकता नगर में आयोजित भव्य रैली में भी भाग लेगी। भव्य एकता परेड, नए पीसीआर वाहनों की शुरुआत, मोटरसाइकिल रैली में भागीदारी और पूरे द्वीपसमूह में आयोजित कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से अंडमान एवं निकोबार पुलिस ने राष्ट्रीय एकता, जनसुरक्षा और नशामुक्त समाज के प्रति अपनी प्रतिबद्धता दोहराई। विविधता में एकता, एकजुटता में शक्ति — नशे को कहें ना, जीवन को कहें हाँ! निर्भय, निपुण, निष्पक्ष। #राष्ट्रीयएकतादिवस2026 #एकतापरेड #अंडमानपुलिस #राष्ट्रीयएकता #नशामुक्तभारत #जनसुरक्षा Celebrating National Unity Through a Grand Ekta Parade! Marking Rashtriya Ekta Diwas–2026, Andaman & Nicobar Police organised a grand Ekta Parade along the Marina Park route, from SVPMC Dharamsala to JNRM, Sri Vijaya Puram, in the gracious presence of the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Dr. Dinesh Sharma, as the Chief Guest. The parade, led by Platoon Commander Shri Abhijeet Sirohi, IPS, featured impressive contingents of A&N Police (Male & Female), IRBn, Fire Service, Police Brass Band, Ladies Pipe Band, Home Guards and NDRF. The march-past reflected discipline, dedication and the spirit of unity and togetherness. On the occasion, the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor also flagged off 23 newly inducted Police Control Room (PCR) vehicles for deployment across the three districts. These vehicles will strengthen police patrolling, improve mobility and help ensure quicker response to emergencies, enhancing public safety across the Islands. Addressing the gathering, the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor, Dr. Dinesh Sharma, paid tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and called upon citizens, particularly the youth, to uphold the values of unity, integrity and collective responsibility. The Director General of Police, Shri Ravindra Yadav, IPS, reaffirmed the commitment of A&N Police towards building a safe and drug-free society through effective policing, action against drug trafficking and community participation. Rashtriya Ekta Diwas was also observed through various programmes across 26 Police Stations, 8 Police Units and 4 Fire Stations. Carrying the message “FIGHT AGAINST DRUGS”, a 12-member A&N Police contingent also participated in the National Motorcycle Rally–2026, spreading awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse across several states and inspiring people to adopt a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. A seminar on “Coastal Security of Andaman & Nicobar Islands”, followed by an interaction with key coastal security stakeholders, was held today at Police Headquarters, Sri Vijaya Puram, under the chairmanship of Vice Admiral Biswajit Dasgupta, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, VSM (Retd.), National Maritime Security Coordinator (NMSC). The seminar featured insightful presentations by A&N Police, Intelligence Bureau, Indian Coast Guard and Department of Fisheries, highlighting key aspects of coastal policing, emerging maritime security challenges, transnational poaching, maritime narcotics trafficking and the crucial role of fishermen as vital partners in safeguarding our maritime frontiers. Addressing the gathering, Shri Ravindra Yadav, IPS, Director General of Police, A&N Islands, underscored the need for seamless inter-agency coordination, timely intelligence sharing and a unified approach to effectively counter emerging maritime threats and further strengthen the coastal security architecture of the Islands. Inspiring Young Minds, Building a Safer Tomorrow! A group of 44 students and 02 teachers from GSSS Bhatubasti visited Fire Station Aberdeen as part of their Study Tour. In an interactive session, Shri Uma Shankar, DANIPS, SP (Fire & Emergency Services), briefed the students on fire safety, emergency preparedness and exciting career opportunities in Fire & Emergency Services. During the visit, our young friends were familiarised with the Fire Control Room, Fire Tender, various firefighting equipment and a live display of different types of fire extinguishers, along with their uses and applications. An enriching experience to inspire the future of our nation, nurture safety awareness and instil respect for the brave firefighters who safeguard lives and property.
