I’ve had nothing but sunny days since I met you, Erica. I can’t wait to share the rest of my life with you and see where our adventures take us!
Tokyo date night: Gameboy modding in Akihabara!
Super cool experience! We stripped down an original DMG-01 Gameboy, pulled out the motherboard, installed a new IPS screen, and put it in a new case.
Can you tell what inspired the colorway on mine? 👀
I just finished the main story of Control Resonant and really loved the little inverted man charm (Astral Dive?) that Dylan wears on his FBC jacket, so I 3D printed one!
Super cool that @remedygames released a cosplay guide so everyone can get a closer look at the details!
You can download it on @printablescom!

Hey @AndrewASink the @tinkercad inspired Layerling tool incorporates a 3D Print twist feature like the app you created a while back. @HLtinkercad shows it in his latest video.
Favorite part about 3D printing is still just making stuff 😊
I just finished Control Resonant and wanted to make Dylan’s little charm on his FBC jacket. 30 minutes of Blender, 30 minutes of printing, and now I have one on my backpack!
Always love seeing pen plotter work in the wild!
I recently took apart my @pltr_toolheads Ender 3, so I'm in the market for a new pen plotter! Maybe its time to finally bite the bullet and get a @bantamtools? 👀
Worked a bit on a plotting program over the weekend that takes planetary topography data and turns my @silhouetteam Cameo into a plotter using a #3dprinted pen holder. (Hey — who let @AndrewASink in here?? 😂) Moon plots done, Mars is next!

Working on a new tool that automatically reverse-engineers 3D scans into really good CAD geometry. This example took a good hour, but man, does it look good and clean!

Open sourced a new vibe coded thing:
a watercolor app for the browser 🎨
Pigments mix as spectra. Washes bloom and dry with tide lines. It can trace any SVG with a brush, write in 58 single-stroke fonts, and flood-fill with a wash.
Open source: github.com/msurguy/watercolo… . Enjoy and share!
The internet's favorite webcomic @achewood just turned 25, and I got to 3D model Ray and Roast Beef for a limited run of 3D printed figurines!
I've been reading Achewood since 2004, so when Chris Onstad reached out to work on this project together I was *beyond* stoked.
There were a total of 50 signed and numbered sets of Ray and Roast Beef from the Great Outdoor Fight arc, and they sold out in only a few hours!
Check out the Achewood store for the rest of the 25th anniversary merch!

Consumer lasers kinda remind me of ~2011 era 3D printers, where the slicer and the driver could be two separate programs. Remember Pronterface?
My favorite lasers are the ones that ship with a simple combined image editor and driver application, which is CRITICAL for new users.
Great video from @UncleJessy4Real talking about AI in the context of 3D printing.
It's complicated and nuanced, and he did a great job articulating a lot of the things I've been thinking for the past few years!
I'm at a point where AI feels like it is ruining 3D Printing
and unfortunately I'm part of the problem!
Time for a quick rant!

I spent a week in China, and it was awesome! Visited Shanghai, Xiamen, and Nantong.
Seeing the pace of progress and innovation for myself was an eye-opening experience; tech here just moves really, really fast!

Replying to @devmobnow
Since I made that post, Adidas has launched a bunch more models in the Climacool line!
I also have a pair that have laces on them, too!
FWIW: this is a great tea set. 🐸
@PkmnMasterHolly sent us these little guys a few years ago and they’ve been a centerpiece ever since 😂
