This company is absolutely nailing it and yet... It's tough out there. Even for companies not bent on self-destruction.

Cyperpunk Edgerunners first season is easily one the best narrative adaptations of an RPG setting I've ever seen. It leverages the source material to tell a compelling story with love and respect for the property.

Got to run Villago again this weekend ahead of the launch on Tuesday. I've had the adventure up on blocks over the last day streamlining and rebuilding. I'm very excited about what I'm going to be delivering. kickstarter.com/projects/and…

Everybody loves "rulings not rules" until it's a ruling against them...

"Media Literacy" is 100 layers of stupid wrapped around "authorial intent".

Early Bioware games were where tabletop and computer RPGs really became two very different things.

I consulted with them back in the late 2000s when they were still the classic version of the studio that was committed to innovation and quality content. What's happened since then has been absolutely tragic. Anthem was truly the beginning of their end.

The Greek Chorus has been around for millennia. Almost as long as theater itself.
We need this for the Office... for when someone hits REPLY ALL instead of just Reply.

Great OSR adventure designs use mystery, discovery, exploration, and revelation to build connections around a central idea which reveals itself in a climactic battle or desperate escape.

Zephram Cohcrane's warp drive stunt is a waste of resources when the planet is still recovering from World War III.

What's really crazy is how much of European innovation was developed because of a well-funded class of idle clergy. That's been transformed into a massive bureaucratic state that blunts innovation through regulation.
The car was invented by Europeans. The jet engine was invented by Europeans. The VTOL jet system was invented by Europeans. (Some) American minds cannot comprehend this.

The reason people are so excited and impressed by Elon’s flying car, despite its impracticability, is that it’s one of the first times in recent memory of a physical innovation. Not another app, not another software, not another chatbot, a real three dimensional thing that changes how we interact with the physical world. I think this is what the irritation with tech has been for many “luddites” of late, it all seems to be pulling us into a screen. Whereas Elon’s invention seems to be finally doing the opposite. If you’re building things in the real world too, even if it’s paintings, cashmere sweaters, books or sculptures, you’ll appreciate this.
