Markets just took a massive hit, erasing $2.3T+ in value.
Led by a brutal tech meltdown, major indexes suffered deep losses as a correction took hold.
Here is what triggered the crash:
📉 The Numbers:
• Nasdaq: 💥 Down 5.52% (now officially in Correction territory)
• S&P 500: 📉 Down 4.36%
• Dow Jones: 🔴 Dropped 1,833 points (-3.44%)
• Semiconductors: 📉 The SOX index cratered ~12%
🚨 Why it’s happening:
• Midterm Election Fallout: Democratic victories sparked sudden investor panic over potential regulatory clampdowns and moratoriums on massive AI data centers.
• The AI Reality Check: Wall Street is moving away from AI hype, demanding to know when hundreds of billions in infrastructure spend will actually turn into corporate profits.
• Global Contagion: The panic quickly triggered trading halts and circuit breakers in Asian markets overnight, with South Korea’s Kospi dropping over 8%.

Never let it go, embrace tradition.
Bonfire Night – An English Tradition Since 1605 🏴🟠
Every 5th November, England marks the failure of the Gunpowder Plot of 1605, when a group of Catholic conspirators led by Robert Catesby attempted to blow up Parliament and assassinate the Protestant King James I. Guy Fawkes was discovered guarding 36 barrels of gunpowder beneath the House of Lords, and the plot was foiled. Bonfires were lit in London to celebrate the King's survival, and in 1606 Parliament passed an Act establishing an annual day of thanksgiving.
Over the centuries, Bonfire Night became one of England's best-known traditions, with great bonfires, fireworks, burning effigies of Guy Fawkes, toffee apples, parkin and families gathering around the fire. Children collected pennies for homemade Guys, while communities built bonfires in fields, streets and open spaces. What began as a Protestant celebration of deliverance from treason became a firmly established English custom, passed down through more than four centuries and still celebrated today.

Guy Fawkes Night isn’t just fireworks and a good excuse for a bonfire.
It’s a living reminder of our history, the fragility of democracy, and the shared stories that bind us.
Traditions like this keep British culture alive across generations.
Remember, remember. #BonfireNight #5thOfNovember
