Might that not include stopping mil supplies to #Ukraine, which are directly helping to continue the death & destruction? How about #UK pushing for peace instead?
Russia has warned the UK of “consequences” today over our support for Ukraine.
Back in January, I spoke about how the risk of direct or indirect confrontation with Russia is becoming increasingly relevant.
We must be clear-eyed about the threat, prepared for what may come, and ready to take the decisions necessary to keep Britain safe.
Fuck off prick.

With Fedorov's outright call for wartime elections to remove Zelenskyi, and a new attack on his cronies by the "anti-corruption" institutions, a major political crisis is unwinding, of course, in Ukraine, not in Russia, as I explained in this recent interview, which remains essential for understanding the broader context of the unfolding events.

There is an emerging pattern here. The UK government threw Karim Khan, the British lawyer who was ICC prosecutor, under a bus. Now the Japanese express this timid dissent to the US targeting of their judge.
Message to international lawyers: your governments will not defend you or the ICC from the USA.

The Congo Basin absorbs 1.5 BILLION tons of CO2 yearly.
The Amazon holds 10% of all species on Earth.
We are losing 27 football fields of forest EVERY MINUTE.
Protecting them is the most powerful climate action we have. #EnvironmentalSustainability

Orwellian: Ukrainian blogger in Lviv Region in Ukraine is sentenced to 5 and half years in prison for criticizing forced mobilization "busification". But Western politicians, journalists & Umland & his ilk call this illiberal dictatorial Zelensky regime "democracy" & defender of freedom.
Political repression in Ukraine rolls on: a blogger who criticized coercive mobilization has been sentenced to five and a half years in prison.
A human-rights activist and journalist in Drohobych, Lviv region, criticized “busification” — the practice of forcibly shoving draft-age men into vans — and abuses of people’s rights during coercive mobilization on social media.
In other words, he talked about the same things the Ombudsman, members of parliament, and millions of Ukrainians have complained about.
He called draft officers “ghouls” and “crooks” who could “go fuck themselves.”
“All these pathetic disabled nobodies who are now stuffing people into vans and driving them off to God knows where — every last one of them will be held accountable. And that miserable karma is waiting for all of them; sooner or later, it will deliver the bill for everything they’ve done,” he said on his blog.
A Ukrainian court apparently found this not merely rude, vulgar, or inflammatory, but a threat to national security. The blogger was accused of “insulting the honor and dignity of servicemen” and “justifying Russian aggression.”
The result: five and a half years behind bars.
Had he belonged to the Mindich circle, perhaps he’d be warming his ass by the sea and shopping for yachts instead. Because, apparently, in the authorities’ hierarchy of mortal dangers, people accused of looting Western aid are considerably less terrifying than people who publicly criticize the state’s draft-by-van terror.

I want to highlight what the key problem is. Mainstream politicians and their economics advisers, have got it into their heads, that climate change wasn't going to impact our societies in a major way, until late this century. They refuse to change their position.

Hillel international is NOT a Jewish organization, it is a Zionist organization.
During my senior year at the University of Michigan, I met with Hillel professionals to discuss launching an anti-Zionist Jewish organization.
They said absolutely not.
There were dozens of Jewish organizations associated with the Hillel: reform, conservative, orthodox. GLBT Jews, environmental Jews, liberal Zionist Jews, pro-Israel Jews, they all got their own organization, and they were all able to benefit from their association with the Hillel, which provided them space, funding & other forms of institutional support.
But not that anti-Zionist Jews. We were banished from the Hillel. We were outside of the boundaries of Judaism, apparently.
It didn't matter that I was active and involved in the Jewish community, praying in the Orthodox minyan every shabbat morning, sometimes leading services.
The only thing that mattered to them is that I was not Zionist, and thus my anti-Zionist Jewish org was totally unwelcome.
Hillel forces Jewish students to chose between their Jewish identity & their politics -- tormenting Jews with the wrong politics, isolating them.
It is a toxic organization that has the blood of tens of thousands of Palestinian children on its hands.

Orwellian: 15 year prison sentence in Ukraine for "criticism of the glorification of the OUN and UPA, the Waffen-SS Galicia Division, and the use of Nazi and far-right imagery in the military, including Azov and other units."
I’m reading the 🇺🇦court verdict against socialist Bohdan Syrotiuk, who was sentenced to 15 years for high treason. Among the accusations against him is the “dissemination of content used by Russian propaganda,” including material about Nazism in Ukraine.
That includes criticism of the glorification of the OUN and UPA, the Waffen-SS Galicia Division, and the use of Nazi and far-right imagery in the military, including Azov and other units.
So here is the wonderfully contorted logic: it is apparently not the glorification of Nazi collaborators, or the tolerance of symbols such as the Wolfsangel, SS bolts and the Black Sun, that provides ammunition for Russian propaganda. No — openly criticizing any of this is what becomes treason.
Welcome to the intellectual gymnastics of the post-Maidan establishment: the problem is not what is being glorified or displayed; the problem is the person rude enough to point at it.
And for that, a young man gets a 15-year treason sentence (!)
So, if I ever cross the Ukrainian border, feel free to look for me in an SBU basement. I, too, suffer from the unfortunate tendency to criticize the apologetics of Nazism in Ukraine. An occupational hazard among Jewish Holocaust researchers, apparently.

Mark my words here. I'm not exaggerating. Nathan Cofnas is a Zionist, a hereditarian supremacist and part of the heavily-funded 'Dark Enlightenment' movement, initiated by Nick Land and fronted by Thiel, Yarvin and Tech Bros. They seek the end of democracy and a shift to technocratic population control. Jason Arday was a carefully selected vulnerable target, the first of a campaign designed to discredit the university system and eventually all public institutions. This system, poorly managed by naive, comfortable liberals, is currently being targeted by private equity. It will take more than DEI vanity to defend it. The left must toughen up its intellect and its politics. This is a serious, rich and powerful enemy operating at a global level, probably more powerful, and certainly cleverer and more insidious, than anything we saw in the 1930s. teapawt.net/L_A_D_J/status/2088588…

Scientists On Survival spray fire extinguishers at government building
Today marks the end of a government public consultation on the controversial Rosebank oil field in the North Sea. Fourteen scientists, including experts in climate, ecology, health and energy, sprayed the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero in Whitehall Place this morning.
The ‘Scientists On Survival’ group says it has tried every form of communication with the government, including research reports, letters, petitions and meetings, to highlight the urgent need for drastic action in the face of climate and ecosystem breakdown. Their immediate concern is that, despite Labour manifesto pledges, new PM Andy Burnham is under pressure from fossil fuel lobbyists and Donald Trump to allow new production from the Rosebank and Jackdaw oil and gas fields.
