Rewatching the #matrix and still amazed by the script. Everyone Neo meets uses the Alice in Wonderland metaphor except Cypher, who uses the Wizard of Oz — a movie about the man behind the curtain being a sham and wanting to go home.
Watching TV with my youngest and a question occurred to me:
Is Clifford the Big Red Dog considered a kaiju?
Went to the @Verizon store for help with a product and both the "specialist" and store manager had no idea. So they used google's Gemini AI right in front of me.
Did not make me feel great about all that expertise. Turns out the service matched that expectation.
Saw #SupermanMovie with my 10-year-old yesterday. A great, fun movie! Felt like watching a king-sized episode of the old Justice League animated show or My Adventures with Superman.
Most comic accurate Superman movie ever and its not close. Give Mr. Terrific his own show now.
Saw a woman give electrical line workers a bag of cookies to thank them for their work.
A nice moment for sure.

X in March: The world is going to end.
Me: That's not good!
X in April: We are all going to read and critique this teenager's college essay!
Me: Uh, what?
SoftBank investing in OpenAI now at that valuation is the tech equivalent of being put on the cover of madden.
Went to the grand opening of the @AldiUSA on Penn avenue in Pittsburgh. But had to leave, too many people waiting with a line spilling into the parking lot and beyond. A tad precarious for me and the kids.

Excited by the new #supermantrailer ! A lot to unpack too, as James Gunn is clearly trying a different tone and tack from earlier versions of the character.
Here are the little things I noticed in the trailer.
Spoilers in the thread.
The super whistle for Krypto and the type of dog he is is adorable. But the desperation in his voice is meaningful.

For those who have listened to the "Sold a Story" podcast by journalist @ehanford or read her work on reading curriculum, this is probably not a surprise.
Class-action lawsuit filed against a publisher for false claims about its reading curriculum.
