03.11 Post match comment from the gaffer 👇 “The most important thing was to win on Tuesday night, as we hadn’t played for two weeks since the Cove defeat. I felt for large parts of the game we were in control and defended really well, though didn’t create as much as I’d of liked. However, it was good to come in one nil up. We had to make a couple of early changes in the second half, which allowed Hamworthy to threaten us on the counter, but apart from one brilliant save from Miles, they didn’t create much either, but were gifted the chance to get back into game, which they did, when the referee awarded them a penalty. For the next ten or so minutes after they equalised, we looked out of sorts, but stuck together and in the closing stages managed to grab a deserved winner, from the returning Ben Morris. We now turn our attention to Saturday, with a tough game against the league leaders, New Milton Town, so we need another big team performance to come away with a positive result.“ Photo by @kmphotoz13

📣New Signing!!! ✍️ We’re super excited to welcome to Romsey Oli page 💙💛🙌 “I’m delighted to bring Oli to the club. He’s been a player that I’ve admired for a while and when the opportunity came about to possibly sign him, it was a no brainer to see if we could get a deal done. He’ll add quality, strength, intelligence and goals to an already exciting front line and will play a huge role in taking us another step forward to where we want to be. I’d also like to thank Manna at Fleetlands for helping play a part in Oli signing for us and I’m confident our supporters will enjoy seeing him play in a Romsey shirt.” -Andy Samuels- Oli says “It’s great to be joining Romsey, since speaking with Andy it’s clear the club have a vision and it’s good to be a part of that, looking forward to getting playing!” #upthetown Photo by @cbradburyphotos @olipage1201 @Andy_Samuels
