Bit of a rhetorical hypothetical to help those who are still confused understand. Will "Lia" Thomas is ranked 65th in the nation at his peak in the 500 free. He switches to the women's division and is now ranked 1st. All of the 64 men who had beaten him previously in the men's have also decided to switch to the women's division. What will Mr. Thomas's rank be? Is Mr. Thomas an exceptional national championship winning caliber athlete or just a man with an unfair advantage against women?

This is really comforting.
During gestation, the placenta facilitates a two-way biological exchange between the mother and the fetus. While it has been scientifically established since the 1990s that small quantities of living cells systematically migrate across this barrier—a process known as microchimerism—recent neurogenomic research has mapped the final destination and biological role of these maternal cells within the human brain.  A research initiative led by Dr. Sami Kanaan and Dr. J. Lee Nelson at the Fred Hutch Cancer Center investigated the presence of maternal microchimeric cells within human neural architecture. The investigators examined resected brain tissue collected from 37 pediatric patients undergoing surgical intervention for severe epilepsy. Their analysis successfully detected cells containing maternal DNA in 26 of the subjects, representing approximately 70% of the sample group. These foreign cells were identified across multiple distinct anatomical zones, including the hippocampus, a region critical for memory consolidation and spatial navigation. By evaluating single-nucleus RNA profiling and analyzing the cells' active genetic transcription, the team demonstrated that these maternal immigrants had fully integrated as functional components of the child's brain, differentiating into mature neurons, supporting astrocytes, and specialized microglia, which comprise the brain's internal immune network. Furthermore, maternal cells were discovered in 25 out of 32 autopsied brain samples from individuals with no history of neurological disease, including the brain tissue of a male individual who lived into his 90s.  These findings provide strong evidence that maternal microchimerism functions as a normal, non-pathological feature of human development, raising profound biological questions regarding the long-term systemic influence of a mother's cells operating inside an offspring's brain decades into adulthood. While observing the precise cellular phenotypes these cells adopt marks an important scientific advancement, certain limitations remain. This research was distributed as a preprint and has not yet undergone formal peer review. Additionally, because the primary tissue pool was derived from pediatric epilepsy patients, the structural ratios may not uniformly reflect every human brain. Maternal microchimeric cells also remain exceedingly rare, averaging a baseline density of only two maternal cells for every 100,000 native neural cells, and their precise functional contributions remain unknown. Despite these uncertainties, the study establishes a new molecular paradigm for understanding a lifelong, physical connection between mother and child.  [Kanaan, S. There should be a law that prohibits Californians and New Englanders from moving to southern states to escape higher taxes and cost of living. If you are going to vote for the same crap that caused you to leave blue states, then we don’t want you here.

Remember that progressives never feared “Christian nationalism.” They just needed to come up with a term to intimidate conservative Christians and conservative Christians alone out of allowing our faith to inform our politics.

I still find it insane that @katy4congress hasn’t responded to allegations from former (and current) staffers of workplace abuse. According to these staffers, she called Scott Bessent a “f*ggot,” has fits over food and threw a bowl of beans at an employee, and threatened to fire a staffer for visiting their mom with cancer.
🚨 BOMBSHELL: Two former members and one current member of Katy Padilla Stout’s congressional campaign staff have come forward, speaking under condition of anonymity, to describe what they call an extremely hostile work environment. The current staffer alleges that Stout routinely berates and curses at her staff. “She’s mean and angry all the time,” the staffer said. “Her smile in front of the cameras is fake. She treats us like slaves. She has us do her grocery shopping, take her dogs to the groomer, and pick up her kids from school, stuff completely unrelated to the campaign.” The staffer continued: “Earlier this month I requested a day off to drive to Dallas and visit my mom, who was scheduled to receive her first round of chemo. I had worked 11 straight days with no days off. Katy went psycho on me during the phone call, telling me, ‘Are you fucking kidding me with this stupid shit two days before a debate? We’re not playing these fucking games. You either start giving me 110% ASAP or I’ll fire your ass.’” One former staffer said Stout frequently had blowups over food. “On one occasion, one of my colleagues went to pick up lunch for all of us at Tacos El Rey, which is around the corner from the office. Katy ordered two asada tacos, a chicken taco, a carnitas taco, a cup of beans, and a cup of rice. It was her usual order. When she opened her bag, she noticed the carnitas taco was missing. She went absolutely crazy on my colleague, accusing her of stealing food and asking if she didn’t pay her enough that she needed to steal. As my coworker tried to explain that they probably just forgot to put it in the bag, Katy threw the cup of beans at the wall where my coworker was standing, told her, while she was crying and visibly shaken, to clean up the mess and earn her paycheck, and then stormed out to eat in her car.” Another former campaign staffer said, “She’s made her whole campaign about how her opponent treats women, that he’s a misogynist and says inappropriate things on his YouTube channel, but she would say super inappropriate sexual stuff all the time when I was there. It got really awkward sometimes because she’d go into detail with me about sexual dreams she’d had. It made me and others feel really uncomfortable. On many occasions I witnessed Katy refer to other women as ‘bitches’ and ‘cunts.’ On a separate occasion, we had the TV on and Scott Bessent was doing an interview. Katy referred to him as a ‘f*ggot Nazi enabler.’ I had to step out because I didn’t want to say something that would get me in trouble. I resigned about a week later.”

Two years ago, this man lost his child. Today, on All Saints’ Day, he and his wife went to visit their son’s grave. He visits it every single day, always parking his car in the same spot. It was there that he was detained and handcuffed by Tusk’s police officers. The reason? Allegedly improper parking (even though he had actually parked legally) and not having his ID card with him. Yet Polish law does not require citizens to carry an ID card! This man is the husband of Danuta Holecka, a well-known journalist who anchors a news program on @RepublikaTV, Poland’s largest news channel, which is critical of Donald Tusk’s government. What happened is outrageous. Such actions are unacceptable in a democratic country governed by the rule of law. This is a complete violation of the law!

Every single midterm in America gets far fewer votes than a presidential race, which means every midterm is decided by exactly one thing -- which side cares more. So, do you care as much about a secure border and ending DEI as the left cares about hitting the "destroy America now" button?

Since riots are now spreading across Europe, there are some simple things any country that wants to avoid them can announce. Anyone found guilty of rioting/looting: - who is a foreign national will be immediately deported - who is a dual national will be immediately stripped of their citizenship, then deported - who is an asylum seeker or has been granted asylum, will be denied asylum/deported - permanently banned from receiving any benefits/welfare of any kind - given harsh custodial sentences Announce this now and avoid riots or watch your country go down the route of France and Germany.
