Apple Maps fancied up two dozen Austin landmarks for its new 3D city search and the only surprise is how lame the choices are. The Paramount looks great, but two BBQ places and not Franklin? No Antone’s, ACL Live or Willie and Stevie statues either. Weak and didn’t have to be.

Seems weird this has only four likes and three RTs after an hour. Isn’t a prominent Paxton backer publicly endorsing Talarico the kind of country-over-party move McConaughey was talking about? Or is that only lauded when nobody actually picks a side?

I am running for Senate to represent all 31 million Texans, and I will always do what's best for Texas, even if that means standing up to my own party.
If the Democratic Party is going after the good-paying oil and gas jobs here in Texas, I'm going to stand up against them. I was able to pass 60 bipartisan bills during my time in the legislature, and the only way I could pass those bills is by working with Republicans.
I'm a proud Texas Democrat, but I already have a religion and I already have a sports team. You can look at my record in the legislature and see that I always did what was best for my district, even if it meant pissing off my own party, and that's exactly what I'm going to do in the U.S. Senate.

Curious to see how serious the supporters groups are about this. Because the reality of the situation is the club is not going to say or do anything about this. They have nothing to do with ICE enforcement in the city and regarding the T-shirt thing, they have to follow league protocol: it’s literally in the fan code of conduct to ban political signage, or T-shirts going one way or the other. A man was kicked out of of STL game for wearing a MAGA hat. Refugees welcome signs were taken down at Toronto FC.
Austin FC is not going to make this public statement or policy declaration you want them to. Either you’ll drop it and come back, or you can choose to be done.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens when Austin FC is actually good again.
