‼️ Andy Burnham's decision to replace standing charges with higher gas unit prices will push up energy bill costs in Scotland.
👀 Labour tried to pull the wool over the eyes of Scots, but no amount of trickery can hide the sky-high bills that people will be paying this winter!

Spot the difference 🤔
This is really poor by @FA. The governing body is supposed to protect players. It should be disputing this regulatory commission verdict by members drawn from the FA judicial panel. Max Dowman could have suffered a bad injury to his standing leg from a dangerous challenge which went unpunished. Arsenal 16-year-old shouldn’t have reacted but his frustration was understandable. Some other players might have rolled around and ensured a bad challenge was punished. Dowman didn’t. He doesn’t stay down. The FA should have shown some understanding towards Dowman. Instead, it has suspended him for three games. FA priorities all wrong: tolerating a poor challenge and some weak refereeing but punishing a kid who objected to a bad challenge that could have dealt him a serious injury. Protect players. #AFC

Our whisky, our jobs, our economy — yet Scotland has so little control over the decisions affecting them.

“Perhaps my best story that never made the papers was the day I came out of the David Kelly inquiry and rang my news editor to say the ambulance crew had questioned the slash marks on his wrist being the wrong way round, only to be told, ‘No, that’s not the line we’re going on.’”
Important article from 30 year Fleet Street veteran Melissa Kite (@melissakite1) about how the ‘media’ lies by omission to run PR for enemies of the people.

📰~ 𝐎𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 in 𝟏𝟗𝟒𝟗 The 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐅𝐢𝐯𝐞 of ℋ𝒾𝒷ℯ𝓇𝓃𝒾𝒶𝓃 𝒻𝒸 played as a complete unit for their first visit away to Celtic
Just two weeks after making their official competitive debut against Queen of the South, the forward line travelled to Parkhead. The match was a tightly contested thriller, ending in a 𝟐-𝟐 draw in front of an immense crowd of 𝟒𝟓,𝟎𝟎𝟎 spectators
• 17th Minute: 𝐋𝐚𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐲 opened the scoring for Hibs. The typical sharp movement from the centre-forward, slicing through the Celtic defence to make it 1–0
• 33rd Minute: 𝐆𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐡 doubled the lead. The match summaries note that Hibs' slick, passing "WM" formation completely overwhelmed the Celtic backline, leaving the home side chasing shadows and going into the halftime interval 2–0 down on their own turf

Always money for warfare. Never money for welfare. The magic of the magic money tree is actually dark magic because it only appears when killing and bombing people needs paid for. When caring for people and supporting people is on the table it stays invisible. Funny that! Not 😡
From the same elite political class that tells you "there is no such thing as the Magic Money Tree"...
Well there is, but it's not there to fund vital public services like maintaining the roads, empty the bins or support the NHS, instead they are spunking it on corrupt demi-fascists in a war that Ukraine already lost.
