When colleges ask profs to jump into this “moment” and add racism to their courses regardless of expertise, they continue to devalue our work and the decades we have spent struggling to teach these issues at great cost. Recognize and support faculty who were doing this all along!
Looking forward to my session with @SSSP1org -Institutional Inequalities: Constraints on Communication, Research, Organizing, & Action. I will be in conversation with former President of SSSP, Corey Dolgan, Walda Katz-Fishman, Howard University, & Nicole Kraus, West Texas A&M!

Just to note. Maria Farmer is the original whistleblower on Jeffrey Epstein. She should be accorded all the rights and recognition that extend to that brave responsibility when she was willing to report a powerful man to the FBI 30 years ago in 1996.
She also reported to NYPD.

and #transrights are mutually exclusive. All of these are
#socialjustice issues that relate to expanding human freedom and dignity. These issues should be tied together in an
#intersectional “big-tent” strategy that honestly engages with the question of how the most
vulnerable and marginalized communities in these coalitions will be supported and uplifted after
#democrats use them to regain control.
I was happy to be a panelist on @dgembrick’s session:
Current Issues of Anti-DEI Rhetoric in the United States with Johnny Williams, Marlese Durr, and @KaseyHenricks. We had an inspiring conversation about building #Solidarity, publishing in these times, and academic freedom
Looking forward to being a panelist for @SSSP1org Opening Plenary: SSSP at 75 and the Reorder of Things: From Oppositional Beginnings to Resisting Elite Capture with an amazing group of writers and organizers! Organized by Dr. Rose M. Brewer,

The most definitive article seems to be Thomas Volscho at the Daily Beast in 2019. It's the most useful one since @TVolscho writes like an investigator, not a fake-omniscient narrator - he makes all the sources of his information clear. Unpaywalled here.
