At 1:09 am July 7 Jake took his last breath and touched the hands of God. I'm devastated but comforted knowing he is bo longer in pain from the cancer that ravaged his body. I love you baby. This is not goodbye, it's till we see each other again.

Emergency Prayer Request
We received an emergency phone call from our daughter this morning. Her boyfriend overdosed, and she found him dead—blue, grey, and purple. She called 911, performed CPR, and administered three shots of Narcan, but nothing worked.
By the grace of God, he was eventually resuscitated. She is a mess they both need help but are too sick to get it.
Joel is driving, and we are on our way to the hospital three hours away.
These young people (our children) desperately need your love and prayers.
And in Jesus’ name, every person who wishes us harm—may their words fall to the ground and come to nothing.
