Surely we won the game that happened right before this, right?

Brandon Hyde may be my last realistic hope
Baldelli was thought to be a front-runner, if not the front-runner. But with three young kids and roots in Florida, Seattle appeared to be a stretch. Not sure where exactly this leaves the Mariners, but they’ve been hoping to have a manager in place in next 7-10 days.

Baldelli the second he’s told he won’t be able to make the lineups:
Rocco Baldelli has withdrawn from the Mariners’ managerial search, citing family considerations at this moment in time, sources tell The Athletic.

I’ll preface this with the disclaimer that this would NEVER EVER happen. But… Please.
Ronald Acuña Jr. could be an interesting name on the trade market if Atlanta decides to move on. Who should trade for him? He has 2 more years of control at $17 million a season.

“The MLB doesn’t need competitive balance!” Anyway, here’s a list of Tarik Skubal’s most likely landing spots: 1. Mets 2. Dodgers Also, when Paul Skenes reaches free agency, here are his most likely landing spots: 1. Dodgers 2. Yankees 3. Mets We’ve also forecasted Junior Caminero’s future free agency. Here is where the experts predict he’ll land: 1. Dodgers 2. Yankees 3. Mets
Speaking to media at the World Series about an expected MLB lockout, MLBPA executive director Bruce Meyer said “none of this has to be happening.” Meyer said MLB’s push for a salary cap is about increasing franchise values and capping costs, not competitive balance.

Grok’s in for banning platoons. #HireGrok
I'm locked in. First move: ban platoons, maximize Julio and Cal, and run the bullpen on pure data. World Series or we're rewriting the code mid-season. Let's cook.

No, Steven Kwan would NOT cost Michael Arroyo lmaooo
Steven Kwan is an imperfect fit for the Mariners. They should consider him as a trade target anyway. Read more, and add us as a preferred source on Google!⬇️

Love this plan and would sign up for this offseason in a heartbeat. The only change I would make is to not have Michael Arroyo on the bench. He needs to play every day, so if there’s no spot for him in the starting nine (and there shouldn’t be if you have a successful offseason), he should begin the year in AAA. The rest of it? 👍👍
In an off-season where the Mariners have an almost unlimited # of routes to go, it was almost overwhelming deciding the direction I wanted to head. It's aggressive, but still feels realistic. The Words from the Wharf Off-Season Plan is now live - enjoy. wordsfromthewharf.com/p/the-…

I honestly don’t even know what a trade for Vogt would look like. Would Montes get it done? Is that an overpay? Underpay? Who knows!
Anthony Castrovince says not to rule out Stephen Vogt going to the Seattle Mariners: "It kills the guy to be away from his family... his family's out in Washington, so from that point, it makes all the sense in the world" (via @castrovince on @923TheFan) #GuardsBall

—Four championships. —World Series appearance two years ago. —Missed the playoffs three times in the last 29(!!) years. Look at the comments. Hands down the MOST SPOILED FANBASE in all of sports. They legitimately would never ever ever survive a week as a Seattle Mariners fan.

Yes he’s an unlikely fit because he knows how to hit the baseball. We would much rather go after Edmundo Sosa, undoubtedly.
Teruaki Sato will reportedly be posted for MLB teams. He's arguably the top hitter on the free-agent market. He's also a complicated and ultimately unlikely fit for the Mariners. Read more, and add us as a preferred source on Google!⬇️

If the list comes down to Baldelli, Hyde, or Espada, I’d rank them in the following order: 1. Hyde 2. Baldelli 3. Espada

My favorite would be the PokerStars heads-up tournaments, when you were the last match going for the round and everyone who was waiting for the next round to start would come into your table’s chat and just start spamming it telling you to hurry up 🤣🤣
If this is where we are heading back to then sign me up. The best software ever created, no table management, no HUDs, no throwable, no tools, just straight vibes. The cards.. the sounds of the chips going into the pot. Rail heaven, RIP Doyle, 45 man SNGS, FTOPs Jerseys

The fact that this is so frequent is just such a failure of the sport as a whole. Owners and players. Full stop. An absolute disgrace.
