Ino looks more like a kunoichi than sarada ever has - outfit wise I know this cursed fandom won't bother reading more than two lines of this post but I'll explain it anyway. Sarada fandom keeps bringing up Ino to defend her outfit but they're completely ignoring the difference between their combat roles. Ino's main specialisation is sensory abilities, communication and mind transfer techniques. She's primarily a support oriented shinobi who works best in coordinated teams, providing support from a relatively safer position rather than constantly engaging enemies in close range combat. However her primary fighting specialisation is completely different from sarada's. Sarada isn't some long range support specialist. She's an uchiha who regularly gets involved in direct combat. Her fighting style involves taijutsu, physical engagement, sharingan and offensive ninjutsu. Even her chidori requires her to get close to her opponent. Her sharingan can help her read and anticipate attacks but it doesn't make her immune to weapons, poison or physical injuries. So using Ino to justify sarada's outfit is a weak comparison. They have completely different fighting styles and combat roles. Even kishimoto gave Ino practical jonin gear during the war arc. Why?? Because a battlefield is unpredictable. Even a support oriented shinobi can become a target, get caught in direct combat or be forced into dangerous situations. You never know when things can get serious Ino's outfit progression alone proves kishimoto never sold his kunoichis bodies for visual attention. Also you can't bring up any kunoichi from OG naruto to defend this when I've already explained how dangerous exposed skin can be for them during close range combat. Sarada fandom is also bringing up Akatsuki cloak to defend her outfit but that comparison is completely misguided. Yes Akatsuki members wore long black cloaks with red clouds but those cloaks represented their organisation and had their own identity and backstory. They weren't designed as protective combat armour. More importantly we repeatedly saw Akatsuki members remove their cloaks when serious combat started. So how exactly does that justify sarada's outfit?? Sarada's heels are another questionable design choice. Why give a shinobi footwear that prioritises fashion over practicality, especially when her fighting style requires constant movement?? And this isn't just about sarada. Several other girls in boruto have the same fashion oriented footwear issue. Tbh girls in boruto don't even look like they're working towards anything meaningful. They look like they wake up every day just to do a ramp walk like models. Sarada is supposed to become hokage, not a streetwear influencer on TikTok. She's supposed to carry the uchiha legacy, master her sharingan and become a capable leader. Right?? Kishimoto gave Ikepedo creative freedom and with that freedom, Ikepedo went too far exploiting minor characters in the manga. When the backlash got out of hand, he finally apologised, only to keep making the same mistakes. And the reason he gets away with it is because he has a fandom that worships him and defends him even at his worst crimes. God knows when sarada fandom will finally realise that Ikepedo is fooling them while they keep defending every damn thing he does.
