I have genuinely never seen such a toxic combination or self pity and self righteousness in any online community ever.
Please don't discriminate ....

I would hold on to making list of the biggest surrenders for now because I am afraid, by the time I am done making the list, he would have surrendered on more issues. Let him retire and then we will make the list.
Agniveer has been the biggest surrender of top brass in defence forces. Rather than accepting such a scheme, resignation was more ethical. No wonder, Indian Air Force lost sports complex. Weak are bound to lose.

The reason progressives think racism is worse than misogyny, (racism can never be forgiven, but give misogynists are given leniency) is because racism also affects men, which is the demographic they value and care the most for. They’re pick mes for marginalized men over women

This is a very sensible statement.
Newsflash -- No academic treats the #Ramayana as history. Historians also care about ideas, stories, etc., for what they tell use about the values and concerns of their creators and how they change over time. We call this intellectual history, literary history, and the like.

Never build an identity around being a victim, even if you are in fact a victim of unspeakable injustices. Forming an identity around victimhood makes overcoming victimhood scary, because it would fundamentally require abandoning that identity.
"There is no way to get better at convincing these people. It's not possible to win. They're too irrational. There's something fundamentally wrong with them and I can't fix that." - Every person who thinks "defeatism" is bad after trying to convince "defeatists"

As loathsome as she is as a person, there is no inconsistency here.
There is hypocrisy, and then there is Rana Ayyub-level hypocrisy.

Fact that of all the issues they could advocate for, firecrackers is the hill they have chosen to die on has to be a conclusive proof that Indian RW are the biggest subhuman group on this platform by a mile. This isn't even a both side issue, there is not a single redeeming thing

This is not a serious country and we are not a serious people. We all hope pointlessly for things to change when fact of the matter is that if it hasn't changed in 80 years, it won't change now. Our leaders would just continue to ignore the writing on the wall as long as they can
It is totally over btw. Indian Army will be a bloated outdated employment generation scheme devoid of any serious fighting capacity. A future government will have to raise a completely new nimble technology first force for the actual battlefield.

Also quite hilarious that the leaders of Pakistan had no faith in the inherent bigotry of their own people so they took the initiative to write it in the Constitution itself that Non Muslims are ineligible for the highest offices.
The total population of Muslims as a percentage in the US population is 1.6 percent. The total percentage of Hindus in Pakistan is 2.17 percent of the total Pakistani population. Compare the number of Muslims in various parts/tiers of the US governments local state federal with the number of Hindus in various parts/tiers of Pakistan governments local provincial and federal. You will see why a secular democracy is always better than a pseudo theocracy.

Your observation is interesting but it needs to be placed in a broader context. The existence of a expanding coffee shop does not contradict Pakistan's economic difficulties. Its a country with a large impoverished population and an entrenched, rentier , parasitic elite whose
Naysayers who have been predicting breakup of Pakistan or economic ruin need to watch this video. If indeed the country is on verge of collapse why then coffee shops are mushrooming there? Why are the owners investing their money in coffee shops when the country is supposedly going nowhere? In a country of tea drinkers, the rapidly expanding coffee footprint clearly shows there is demand for coffee and people have the paying capacity. 3250 coffee shops opened in Pakistan in April 2026. The ground reality is much different to what is being portrayed. youtu.be/97mtbRFmh1g?si=c21c…

He was unabashedly, unapologetically and unashamedly pro pakistan until very recently. This is some exceptional gaslighting my guy.
Shar Rukh Khan's father was a Khudai Khidmatgar who migrated to India during partition. If there is one family that can represent what 'anti-Pakistan' can be, it's Him (even over figures like Sheikh Abdullah). These khabees need to keep their galeech paws off him.

He was losing anyway, might as well try hail Mary rather than die wondering. Granted it was horrific, toxic and condemnable but a similar strategy got Trump got elected to White House twice. I can see where he was coming from.
