One Nation has a 64 page policy document that never mentions culture or the Arts. Victorians running B&Bs or AirBnBs will know how important events are to tourism here. As such One Nation are a threat to your income. #auspol

It is time the Australian Govt distances itself from the RBA’s use of rate hikes to curb inflation. The PM is right. It is a blunt instrument. It is about time the RBA looked at other measures in reining in inflation rather than punishing mortgage holders. Meanwhile the author of the article gives credit where its due. It’s a capable Labor Govt that has navigated us through this latest crisis, adeptly managing international affairs with aplomb. They also level the blame for the bulk of the inflationary pressures at Trump’s feet. @AlboMP also rightly asserts Australian Govt spending is not wasteful. This excerpt resonated with me the most:
‘Talking about his longevity, Albanese said his time served “makes engagement [with leaders] easier”. Albanese has stabilised relations with China, minimised flare-ups with Trump, and struck security deals with Pacific nations.
He argued: “Domestic politics and interests can’t be separated from international engagement in today’s world. They’re interconnected.”
Too right they can’t be separated despite what L-NP and ON politicians say. Not one of them could conduct themselves with the finesse Labor politicians have in the world of international relations.

Victorian Indigenous leaders accuse liberal leader Jess Wilson of using Treaty as a 'political football' & warn decades of progress lost if the historic agreement is scrapped. Victoria's landmark Treaty is a national first & Libs want to rip it up #auspol abc.net.au/news/2026-10-31/t…

C’mon everybody tell @abcnews a podcast by @Raf_Epstein blatantly saying it’s time for a change in Victoria is not ok. The NB isn’t supposed to influence elections just give us the facts. How many times do I have to repeat this?

Victoria's Labor govt has an energy success story. Vic leads the nation when it comes to offering lower power prices & greenhouse gas emissions have been coming down too. Over 50% state's energy now from renewables ahead of target of 95% 2035 #auspol pearlsandirritations.com/pos…

Remove all the train lines in Melbourne, then go for a drive at 8am to the city and tell me rail projects are a waste of money.

Timely reminder that Kennett (a fucking liberal) made Vic Roads use a compulsory competitive tendering process meaning they must give the job of road maintenance to the cheapest contract.
Those potholes are because of the liberal party forcing Vic Roads to use the cheapest companies and not the best.

Actually, the MAJORITY don't give a shit about religion. It's not part of our everyday lives, so the "Christians" can fck off out of our policy-writing as well. NO RELIGION in law-making.

Jewish Australians constitute only 4 in every 1000 people. They are a minority religious cult with hugely unrepresentative influence in Australia's social and political narrative. The majority Christian population should overrule the influence of this corrupt zionist cabal 🤨
