I documented my journey of Tipstar from 2024 with @RacingTV This year: 1️⃣ Preview a race 2️⃣ Preview another race 3️⃣ The Final 🤞 I didn’t enter the competition as the most knowledgeable, nor the most articulate, and certainly not with the most experience. But I’d like to think that I was the best prepared. Don’t concentrate on finding a winner. Concentrate on being able to make a good analysis of a race. You don’t have to be word perfect, just be yourself, prepare, and it could open doors to a brilliant career. Tipstar has done that for so many people and even those who didn’t win the competition are now working in the sport. Good luck. Get involved 👍

Think this has a lot of merit! As a starting point…would an opportunity on the biggest stage (Cheltenham) be an opportunity to help feed the sport and try to level the playing field… You could have 1️⃣ race that is: Irish vs British: 10 🇬🇧 trained 10 🇮🇪 trained 2m4f Hurdle Conditions: 1️⃣ Must have won a race during the season leading into the Festival (or something of this nature to maintain quality of the field) 2️⃣ Only open to trainers with less than X winners in a season or X number of horses in training 3️⃣ Only open to owners of less than X horses 4️⃣ A forced sales race where all participants are available for purchase (no reserve pricing) which may prevent a powerful owner putting a horse in the race, under a different name/training operation, otherwise they would have to then buy their own horse back at an inflated price Might be riddled with faults but I think we can get more inventive with the whole race program….
