TeSlaa Trade:
Lions: TeSlaa, Frazier, Gill-Howard
Other team(s): Tai Felton, Albert Regis, Jalen Huskey
My take on the Packers costly penalties
(Roughness) St was down and the play was over.
(Roughing 1) Super late hit, even if not hard
(Grounding) That was a weak intentional grounding. Bad call
(Roughing 2) 50/50
IMO that Packers game is more evidence that a true CB1 would help this team get to another level.
The offense is championship caliber (even after a bad game) the defense is playing decent the last 2 weeks.
I’m not taking a Surtain or a Stingley but a CB1 would be very good
Packers fans crying about the refs is soooo funny 😂
After years and years of being the NFLs favorite they finally have to deal with bad refs like the rest of us
If I told you a few weeks ago the Lions would only score 20 points, turn the ball over 2 times, fail on forth down once in the red zone and once at their own 28 yard line. You would think they lost by a million.
Good Job Shepp
Alim McNeill having an All Pro Season
SGH being the best rookie IDL
Tyliek Williams being stout in the middle
Lions all around having a top 5 DL in football
“They should trade for a DT”
🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
All the fire Brad Holmes people looking worse and worse by the day
From what I saw watching live a few things stood out.
1) More man coverage
2) 2 high safety looks
3) disguising looks pre snap
Still some stuff to change and alter but definitely changed some things up and were better for it
My ideal secondary coming out of the bye.
CB1: New Addition
CB2: McCreary / Rakestraw
CB3: Reed / Izien
FS: Abney
SS: Branch
That feels like their best option to at least be average
If a trade is going to happen for Detroit, it has to be this week. 2 full weeks to get a new guy acclimated.
If not in the next few days maybe at the deadline but unlikely
The Rams seem to be on their way to proving they have been the exception not the rule.
TRADING ALL YOUR TOP PICKS FOR EXPENSIVE VETS DOESN’T USUALLY WORK.
- 2019 Bears
- 2022 Broncos
- 2022 Browns
- 2022 49ers
- 2025 Packers
The list goes on
Want to separate the people who understand the Lions vs the Madden GMs?
Ask them about Sione Vaki and what the Lions should do with Sam LaPorta.
That will tell you everything you need to know
I’m starting to feel more and more that Ennis could fill a 2023 Ifeatu Melifonwu role.
Maybe he’s not a long term guy, maybe he’s not an all pro, but a guy who for even just half a season steps up and fills a role the Lions desperately need.
He’s stacking good performances
