I foreclosed my Fixed Deposit in City Union Bank using their mobile app, and within seconds of doing the same, an amount of 49989 got debited from my account. I immediately rushed to the bank to raise a complaint regarding the same and they asked me to wait for a weeks time
And they’ll get back to me. After a week, I went back to the bank again and asked them for an update, they replied that “sir, this is an online transaction and there is nothing which can be done by the branch. Please call customer care and ask them to provide you with the details
Of the same, so that we can work on it”
How is it that an incident like this has happened on the mobile banking app provided to me by the bank and bank says they cannot help?

How a small mistake can affect someone drastically!
I recently had my ICICI Bank credit card blocked because my name is in the common borrowers list.
that I would receive a call on Monday (25/07/22) with an update searching for the application which had been submitted and got lost somehow.
However, it's Friday (29/07/22) today and I have still not received any call from the bank or the customer care.

I recently had my ICICI Bank credit card blocked because my name is in the common borrowers list.
being in the defaulter list without any fault. Also, this incident has affected my CIBIL Score drastically bringing it down to average rating.
Now even with all necessary clearances being done and as requested by bank,

During this time of Pandemic, we don't even know who has developed the application called cowin (As per RTI filed on @MoHFW_INDIA which was later transferred to @GoI_MeitY and the response was that our beloved Government doesn't know who has developed it!)

There are so many startups in this country who can develop a good quality application. Government of India should give tenders to companies which deserve the work and not to the highest briber in the tender (experience)
